Thanks for putting this up Liz, Joyce rang me at teatime yesterday but I couldn't get to the phone so I'm hoping she will ring again today. I hope she's alright with her back, when things like that happen to me I always feel worse the day after.

I spoke to Joyce last evening - she is now in England for a few days. She said things didn't go well and it was a waste of time going to the clinic as they want to insert needles into her spine at various points and it would only lessen the pain a little, not get rid of it. For the moment, Joyce has decided she would rather cope with the pain than have the procedure done, which is apparently what many people do, so is no further forward.

On the bus from the airport, a woman drove her car across the front of the bus, causing him to swerve and brake and it twisted Joyce's back so she is sore from that too now.

Poor Joyce, still at least she is with her friend and will be seeing many of her family members over the next few days which is lovely. She has also been invited to the home of newly found relative so he is picking her up one afternoon I think she said and taking her back to his house so she can meet more relatives and they can exchange copies of old photos etc.
I hope the interest of all that will take her mind off the pain too, she is being driven back afterwards as well so won't have to worry about using buses.

Thank you Ladys will let you no how i get on have been up nearly all night again ,its realy not nice and Jan is tired when going to work as it wakes him up me getting in and out of bed
