Morning - can't remember if it was this thread or another where someone was saying they didn't have the option to restrict tree access from Hotmatches.

Well, mine came through today and I still have that option. When I look at the details, there is a purple box to the right with something like 'Next step - send a message' and a blank area to type into. At the bottom of the purple boarder, there is a tick box (default is a tick) and Allow access to my tree' or words to that effect.

Oh dear GG - how about....sending a message to someone on your Hotmatch list, then go into Contacts and see if you have the option to remove access there? If you can't, delete the contact from that page. Unless GR messed around with that as well, it should delete the message from their inbox before they have the chance to read it.

Failing that, GR really need to add it to the list of things to sort out!

Thank you Det for that will have to wait till next batch of hot matches
as none were of any use this time round, maybe by then it will be
sorted out if not will contact GR.

GG1 I don't think it is a GR problem as we can all see the tick box when we go into HotMatches, and it it was a bug at GR then we would all have the same problem, which clearly we do not.

It could be something to do with your browser failing to display the page correctly. Have you cleared it out recently by deleting your browser cache / temp files? or, try shutting down completely and re-booting.This will often cure problems such as this.

Failing that, can you let us know what browser and version you are using, as it might require updating.

On the other recent comment, deleting a member from your contacts does not remove messages from their in box. Only the other member can do that.
