I have now ordered the snazziest coat ever for my newest granddaughter, aged 11 I would like it myself. It is from NEXT. I know she wants it, cos she told me on the phone last night.... they just got the catalogue. She may even end up with it early.

I have a couple of toys for the littlest on order, and some *communal* games for the other three to go in a big *family sack* stocking.

*shuudders with excitement*

Love

D's just brought home some mags from the shop ( they get recycled via me lol) one of which was The Grocer, Christmas stock special....ooooh all the lovely choccie santa's and special packs ;)

Interesting that a well known London store starts its Christmas goods early as they find foreign tourists especially like to buy...from an economic view it makes sense :)

Yes I love Christmas too, looking forward to spending it with daughter and family this year.
However, we have another holiday after this one plus a long weekend in London to get through first.
Still I have a few cards made and will start as soon as I get home to do the rest.

Don't do Easter, Merlin.... Christmas is *it* for me. I love it. I would like to go to Germany for a couple of days in December, but don't think I will be well enough.

So, as soon as the pennies go in the bank this month, I am going to get a brazier for outside.... it's the woodsmoke. That is if my smell is back, lolol

Happy Christmas, Rose, lolol

Mummo, this year will be perfect... just let it roll out all on it's own. And NO BLINKIN LADDERS ED!!!!

I typed a reply and sent...came up 'oops'...so try again :)

No bah humbug from me :)) I am just a child and love the baubles, the tree and the fairy lights :) A few sad Christmases but it hasn't knocked it for me, One day I am going to spend it in Austria or Germany for the snow :)) . I cry at all the Christmas movies no matter how mawkish and the carols, especially Silent Night and without fail read Dylan Thomas' 'A child's Christmas in Wales' on Christmas Eve :))

Wishing you a happy Christmas Daff...starting now!
