Yes Barbra it is good news. I haven't heard any more, Carole texts Joyce and Joyce tells me what to put on, she hasn't said anything lately. Hoping your dad continues to recover well Carole and is able to leave hospital soon.

Carole, so pleased to hear this news, Caz told me when I rang her. You must feel so relieved even tho you have all the hassle of finding a good home for your Dad. You have certainly had a bad year but hope things get better for you now you know you have more time with your Dad.
I wonder if the way your Dad is, dreamy and sleepy, is because of his kidneys as people get very forgetful and disorientated when they are dehydrated so could be a connection.

I hope your family are helping you at home so you can catch up with some much needed rest.

I am very pleased to tell you there has been a change, Carole asked a second doctor was her dads condition terminal, the answer was no. His kidneys are poorly but he will recover and get better, but her mum is looking for a nursing home for him as he is very sleepy and daydreaming Carole said. It is too much for her to look after him at home. It is a big relief all round, Carole has been run ragged, not had any sleep, every time the phone went she thought the worst, at least she can relax a bit now.
