Once upon a time, on the general board, Bryan and I used to post songs on a very long thread, by request; then the thread was abused and Bryan left so, after a while, I deleted it.


Stella, it is only this site as far as I am concerned; also, site jumping and errors when trying to send a message.

don't know Marion.. i am posting on another site at the moment and sending emails..it's only here that i have a problem

Theres been some good threads on here music etc.

Stella I dont think its to do with GR the typing thing. I'm sure that happened to me before while doing emails.
Somebody will maybe know exactly what causes it.

I don't see very much bickering on here anymore. I do see some fun threads. The music threads are always good. There will always be a difference of opinion, awkward people who think they are being picked on etc. but that's the same in real life.

Anything that involves people changes. We don't stay the same. We move on, get involved in other interests and other sites. However there is always someone who just can't let go and will bring up silly things from the past. That's the only time in my opinion when things flare up. Just relax and enjoy. This site isn't the be all and end all.

Puss get one of the tray/boxes for your pills, then you'll know if youve taken them. Just make sure you know where to find it lol.

i pop in at least once a day althoughi am not tempted to post anymore..... but i did enjoy the silly threads they made a lot of people smile ....

it was all harmless fun.... but all things come to an end eventually

and most of us drifted away for lots of reasons

think most now have realised.

there is a real world outside GR,,,,,its same as FB in a couple more years time that will go down in use...

GR was new ,exciting as there wasnt a family interactive site like it. same as the amCB in 1976/7,everyone sat up all night talking on expensive rigs ,making friends,going to eyeballs.etc.rigs became cheap to buy, attracting brain doners then it all died a death,but GR will go on regardless of how many leave,as for every couple leaving 10/12 join so the balance tips...

imho people have friends close friends and people they may speak to now and again and people they dislike even though they have never met that person, so some people are really missed, missed abit not really missed and some not missed at all, so when someone you really like leaves etc etc personaly i think there is a nice mix off people on here and support and unbiased advice is excellent

ok im taking my tablets now or have i already urrrrrrrrrrm

and im talking to new people or people who i have missed or uive been missed and its nice having new friends opinions etc

Gill I don't think you should take the phrase 'your era' personally... I see my 'era' as 2007 to 2008...that is when my best friends were on here, and I often laughed till I cried :) it isn't my era now...but that doesn't mean there is no one nice left to speak to.

Joy Aka Marion your right, it has been said for years.

I do still. by and large, like the same people I first liked when I joined ( though some of them have left) but I have realised , and that goes for the internet generally) that not everyone is as honest and straightforward as they appear...or as nice as they would like people to believe lol, that is the same as 'real life'...but it's still a disappoinment when you have trusted someone, and 'fought their corner' and they let you down, big time.

But in a general way, most chat type boards I have looked at, when looking for somewhere other than here, are the same... nice, nasty, boring, funny lol.

Gill you do have an 'era' you may have been on this site since the year dot but I assure you when I joined your head was tucked in quiet. You blossomed then, should we say with a few others, not all your friends, but about the same time, at a later date.
