Shirl the Jungle program is where they put celebs out in the jungle in OZ and they have to do tasks to earn their food. It's like a survival type thing but they have horrid tasks. Like eating bugs and beetles and putting their hands in a snake pit to get stars out that have numbers on them. Or going into filthy water and having to dive under to get get thigns with points on. Or laying in a plastic tank and having rats put in it that run all over you.

Shirl,Fitz's story is far too complicated to even begin to describe. But fascinating. It has got too big for me to put on here. But he is still following trails.

The Jungle that we talk about ,is a bunch of Celebs put in the Jungle in Australia ,and to survive they have to do trials ,like eating the most disgusting things and doing the scariest things. If you Google I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" you may find something

Fiona --it's no picnic is it- a hubby or wife is one thing--but our Mum or Dad
that's our life and childhood--which made up our memories.

but it's hard for the children to understand if young.

He has only lost his small toe, He had this MRSI bug,, and the doctor say it's been stopped at his toes, and they think they have caught it in time. he is starting to recover, and hasn't beensick today. He will have to have bed rest for 6 weeks when he comes home, with a special nurse coming in each day.

I'm just out of the shower, sitting with a towel round me. Ros is off to see her friend for a gaunt round Morris##s.

Had liver and onions, peas, and mash for dinner lest night. Haven't had it for a while, but really nice. not something you want every week, but nice for a change.

Right arm not good this morning, lots of jabing pains down into my wrist. so trying not to use it to make capital letters. bear with me.

poor old mel, all this clearing up to do, but when we are all doing spring cleaning, yours will be done!!!!!!

Everybody out this morning, christmas shopping, i'm pleased to say Ros has only got one to get. i had my first xmas card this morning from Australia. a very old school pal, she the one who sends a lot of jokes val and keith.

Lewis is off to Twickenham today, to see England v Samoa. then the family are going up to rutland from toddington. 75 miles for a meal with Conrad and JAN. it's nice the boys meet up on ocassions, better than the telephone.

off to get dressed, and have a brunch. including fried potatoes from last night. Can smell it now !!!!

Afternoon All,

12.47

Still misty/foggy here........no chance of the washing going out.....AGAIN! OH is on his way to Bury, nr Manchester to watch his team. He asked me again if I wanted to come with him........I just turned and looked out of the window at the fog.......'that'll be a no then', he said. lol

That's pleasing news about your brother Frank. Hope he is soon much better. Good idea marking the clock for your sister so she knows when to ring. My FIL (first OH) went to sleep in the afternoon once, woke up and set off for his doctor's appt for 9.00am. Got there and they were shut as it was 9.00pm.

Fiona, a shame Sofia can't visit your dad now, but quite the right thing to do not to frighten her. Little minds remember things, even subconsciously.

Well, we had a horrid foggy journey to see Jane McD last night. There was a Tigers match on too so the city was snarled up with traffic for that as well! BUT the performance she gave was FAB-U-LOUS! I liked her on Loose Women and had seen her perform a song or two on that, wasn't sure OH would like it. Well, he said he thoroughly enjoyed it and was clapping away. lol She sang mostly from the 60s and 70s, good old Motown stuff I love, but also sang songs she had written and did one opera song beautifully. I hadn't realised she trained in opera for 2 years. Beautiful sparkly frocks and some great jokes, all the seats were sold and everyone was on their feet to give her a standing ovation at the end. This weekend is the end of a 2 year tour and she said her frocks are getting a bit minging now!! lol She is taking time off for a while for a rest and to write some more songs. Glad I went.

My GR has changed again to the new format overnight. Not seeing the time of the posts IS a pain. What was wrong with putting the time, or is it because of the time difference in other countries? Mel, I can feel the fresh (paint) air whistling through your place as you write. I bet you are having a ball sorting and seeing all the changes you are making. You must be sleeping really well after all this exertion.

Better go and do something with this wet washing now.....lol.
