I loved your Jokes today Frank, and sent that one you thought Chris would enjoy ,on to him at work lol
I don't think we have had the rain as heavy as you or Ann and it now seems to have cleared.
Chester doesn't really smell sweet Frank,he now just seems to smell of wet dog !!!!!.I think I will have to give him a squirt of the doggy deodorant stuff, but I worry about his funny skin.
I bet your rice pudding comes out perfectly. Not like that lump of yuk I managed to produce lol

Have we not heard from Mel since early this morning?I hope it is not a bad day for her and being tired too.I think she said the Dr was bringing some liquid morphine for her Mum today.

Hi All, just want to say thank you all for your kind and loving wishes for Alfie. Took him to the vets this morning as he had about 6 fits yesterday and yes he is p**ing when he has a fit. I was fully prepared to come home with an empty pet carrier. The vet wanted to do some tests, MORE MONEY, but I'm sure that's not their prime reason for it. He took him off to do tests for a virus, kidney and liver, came back after five mintues to say he was putting up such a fight he would have to sedate him, MORE MONEY, so I had to leave him there. Meanwhile he has prescribed anti biotics and phenobarbital for the fits MORE MONEY, to cut a long story short, he has found no viral infections, nothing wrong with kidneys or liver so reckons its congenital. He says if the medications work then he should be ok, if not, well we will be back where we started and I think poor Alfie has been in the last chance saloon too many times. I won't say how much this little lot has cost but if he is okay it will have been worth it.

Hi Guys, Just thought that I would drop in and say hello to you all after a rather long time!! We got the results of OH's biopsy yesterday, and unfortunately he has got Prostate Cancer which is not particularly good news to say the least! however, we have been assured that it is treatable, so the next step is that he has to have an MRI scan which will determine what treatement is suitable. Choices seem to be radiotherapy or a complete removal of the prostate! we shall see! We are going up to see son and daughter next week, and the 'terrible three'! as you can imagine we are under more pressure than ever to move closer to them, and this is what we are keen to do, if we can just get OH 'right' and our b.....y neighbour off our backs. We have sent them a very fierce Sols letter basically telling them to 'put up or shut up'! lets hope this does the trick. I've really liked the story of your little cat Maureen. I'm a cat person, so stories of pussy cats do get to me, I wish him and you lots of luck. Talking of vets fees, I have to take Millie (my Cocker Spaniel) to the vets tomorrow to have stitches taken out after having a wart removed. Cost of this UNmajor operation, £95. 70p!!!!! I'm still in shock, so goodness knows what your little cat has cost. You'll have to take in lodgers!!!! I know, you already have, a catty one!

Frank Report 19 Oct 2010 18:51

Liz, How nice to know you are still around. PM me with your Email address. and I will then be able to include you in all my "FUNNY" Emails from my friends. I think everybody enjoys them. No one has said any different !!!! So sorry to hear about OH. Lets hope they can treat it, one way or another.

Maureen, poor little Alfie, We will have to have a collection, to help with the treatment costs !!! I will certainly HELP. I have been so lucky with our cat. He hasn'e cost me a penny. except for FOOD and flea treatment. We have noticed recently that he is loosing his teeth. So drinking more milk and cream. We spoil him. I now chop up his Whiskas even smaller. so he can handle it better.

Jane Report 19 Oct 2010 19:20

Hi Elizabeth ,I keep calling you that .lol would you prefer Liz?
Sorry to hear of the diagnosis ,but as you say it is treatable ,and I believe it has a high rate of being zapped .What is the expression ........Go Girl Go ! you tell those neighbours of yours. It is great to see you back.We were all wondering where you had gone lol.

Hi I have had a stressing afternoon looked after a seven old boy what a cheeky monkey he swore all afternoon at his 3 year old sister. I found these two youngsters sat on our step of the shop no mummie in the house and the little girl had wet herself. I had to bath her make a nappie with a old towel and found a couple of items of Aprils far to big.
I did not know where they lived until a lady came at 6am and said the mother had been arrested in Tescos for stealing. Anyway this lady was a probation women and she took them off my hands.

Have been spending a bit on Ebay. Ros has a bracelet made from ABALONE (snail type creature with mother of peal shell) So I have bought Pendant, Earrings, and a complete shell. They can go away for Christmas. The bracelet, she bought herself (as a Christmas present from me) !!!! I always buy her pieces of Jewellery for Christmas. I can't go a buy anything for her on my own as I am Colour Blind. So she has to make sure it will match. Hence I never buy her cloths on my own, likewise I can't buy myself any cloths, without her. She chooses everything for me, and keeps me young looking, so people say. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it !!!!! Silly old GIT I hear you say !!!!

Have just been out to the freezer, to get something out for tomorrows dinner, and it is really cold now. There's talk of snow in the Highlands of Scotland. How's it for you Fiona ????

Jane did Chris enjoy the Joke today. I sat and had a real belly laugh at both on them.

Jane Report 19 Oct 2010 20:42

Chris keeps saying he has heard we are going to have another hard winter!!!
I wonder if that is right .We will just have to wait and see .

Love the jokes Frank and David.....always make me chuckle. lol OH chooses most of his own clothes, but likes me to ok them. He doesn't really need me to as he is good at putting things together. I wouldn't let him pick anything for me though!!!! lol Would probably have too much plunge on the neckline!! lol Ros has the right idea about christmas presents Frank....pick your own.

Looked out the window earlier.......wind and rain. Can't believe it will be sunny tomorrow like they say. Ah well, better charge the camera up just in case we get to those woods.

Hope poor little Alfie will be alright and that Mel has managed to fit in a snooze today.

Night, night. xx
