If your dentist is good, you shouldn't feel a thing - it's the initial injections that are always a bit of a b----r, after that it's a breeze. Just remember, the bleeding should have stopped by the time you reach your car, the bus, whatever. I had a bad dentist once and the bleeding didn't stop for hours and I was really ill the next day with a temperature and felt lousy afterwards for several weeks. I don't want to scare you, but just make you aware that a bad dentist can really c..ck things up. It shouldn't be at all painful. I've had all mine out with only one bad experience, so really hope all goes well with you. If you know your dentist is good, you'll be fine.

If your dentist is gorgeous it won't hurt a bit.

Even if he's ugly it won't hurt.

Just think, by Wednesday evening, the tooth will be gone!

Cotton wool soaked in whisky might help.
It's not so much sore getting one out...it's just the thought.
Just sit back and think of something nice, not toooooo nice though lol

It doesn't hurt a bit Muffy.

I had two wisdom teeth out when I was 17. I knew the top one was infected, but not the bottom one. When he numbed my mouth, he said he was taking both out and I panicked. The first teeth I'd ever had taken out.

Anyway, he said, 'tell you what, If I can get the top one out in less than 30 seconds, can I take the bottom one out too?'

I agreed, gripped the chair hard and shut my eyes.

10 seconds later he said, 'There, all done!'

So I said, 'Ok you can take the bottom one out now.'

'Done that too! he said. And sure enough, there they both were on the tray.
