We bought one for our son many years ago, we paid for it and the shop kept it for us til Christmas eve we left it in the car until he had gone to bed, covered it with a blanket so he just needed to take it off.

Ooo I like wrapping presents, trouble is some of them don't look good because they are small and fiddly.

No we have both viewed each others home via a HA official website and both of us have applied for the swap

I don't know how that works, do the council let you know when something comes up?

I hope the exchange does happen, you have both put a lot hard work in the house and deserve something more suited to a retired couple. <3

Meant to say Xmas eve friday YG. I am so tired this evening I can't think straight. We are hoping to stay a lot longer for the next visit though which will have to be arranged at a later date so H can get a good while off work. We also have to see what happens with our exchange too which hopefully will be early next year subject to HA approval

Evening all, we or should I say I decided to do a weeks worth of food shopping instead off just 3 or 4 days worth, silly me thought it would save a lot of angst on his part but no he wasn't a happy bunny, hey ho it is done now. :-D

Evening YG, I am looking forward to our outing. We don't buy each other presents either but our Society Chairman always buys treats that we can all share with our Belfry cuppas :-D :-D :-D.
