We have been working in the shady part of the garden so I was ok. I need to do the front garden soon and that is shady all day so it shouldn't be a problem :-D

I can't be outside for long so I stay indoors and do the H word stuff or work on my tree.

I'm looking for some dead people, found some on FMP but I think I need to go to our local records office to go back further than 1765 they were all from the same county as me.

Evening ZZzzz yes we had a good day too. I found some lovely tops in the charity shops in town and several plant bargains on the way back. We had lunch out so no cooking for me today. We have spent the whole afternoon in the garden and it looks so much better now but there is a good lot more to do.

We have not got an election around here and even if we did it would stay the same which suits me.
Sleep well and see you tomorrow :-D <3

YG Report 29 Apr 2022 22:55

It will be interesting to see what happens with the local elections next week, although there isn't likely to any change in this area.

With that thought, I am off to bed to catch up on some sleep and have a lovely lay in tomorrow morning :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Sleep well, LG and I'll most likely speak to you tomorrow :-) <3

That is true but the country is still filling up from elsewhere

YG

YG Report 29 Apr 2022 22:27

I'd seriously doubt that right now, LG :-D :-D :-D :-D I think I will try to catch them, take them back to Canada and stay there with them. This country has gone to pot :-|

YG Report 29 Apr 2022 22:09

Why aren't they in Canada then? :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I picked them out in the book but wasn't at all sure. Thanks, LG, that's sorted one out!!

LaGooner Report 29 Apr 2022 21:53

I have replied, they are Canada Geese for sure :-D. I don't know if they are placid as I steer clear of all geese after having issues with the ones on my uncles farm :-D :-D :-D :-D

YG

YG Report 29 Apr 2022 21:48

I've pm'd you and attached a photo that I took during the first lockdown. I think they belong to the geese family, but they are very placid. I thought geese had a tendency to attack!!

The brown flecked could be young barnacle geese

YG

YG Report 29 Apr 2022 21:30

The big ones have brown steaky markings with a white chest and under belly. Long necks. There ae a couple of plain white ones of a similar size, then some smaller ones that are mainly black with a jade and white splash of colour on the neck.
