Evening all, my it has been warm. We have just sat down after watering and feeding the garden so feet up time. :-D

Morning all, lovely warm sunny day here but it is a very high pollen count and I feel yuk :-P. Just taken the antihistamine so hopefully I will get a bit of relief :-D. Busy day catching up with the jobs about the house so catch you later,have a good day :-D

It was warm today for a short time ,all bedding was dried and put away ,
The blackbird is quiet today so hope all is okay or perhaps the nest has fledged .
I am chilling out now not all jobs were done ,the gas fitter arrived at lunch time .
My grass will need cutting again this weekend ,so will try and fit it in .

How did you get on at WW?

Afternoon all, I have just got back from WW and shopping and sitting with the caffeine before getting lunch. We spent yesterday doing the front garden and it is now finished all bar a few bedding plants that need putting in. I have a committee meeting this evening so I will see if I can get them in before my shower and hair wash :-D

there i was went back to sleep after feeding madam ,made a cuppa with the plan to relax with my cuppa and get up to do the bed etc upstairs ,Well I then got a text to say the gas service is being done this morning 8til 1 I had forgotten lol
So i am up now stripped the bed and came downstairs to tidy up .so I am now trying to wake up as I am tired .I would like to do some chores as well as relaxing today .

It was up to 80 degrees f here today 8th . that's 26 degrees c, too hot to go shopping so we didn't for a change.
Tomorrow there is an ice cream evening, erm I think that involves eating ice cream. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Maz, I used to have blackbird that sat on the fence every day singing to me in the kitchen I can't tame the two that are in the garden now. They are very independent :-D :-D

LG, I hope you behaved reasonably well in the Belfry!! You haven't taken up bell ringing yet?

I was at the office all day yesterday waiting for a contractor that was reschediled to comon tomorrow, but they didn't inform us. I was late home and then had to empty the freezer and finish defrosting the freezer ready for collection today I had 3 big carierbags full in the bath with some bags of ice, but although some things stayed more or less frozen, but I have lost a fair amount. I didn't eat until after 9pm and then fell into bed absolutely shattered, but had a really bad night.

I've been working at thome today, so took the opportunity to cook up some of the stuff that has wasted and the birds have had a feast this afternoon!! I'm worn out tonight and have 3 heavy days to get through now with some extra hours involved, so will be very relieved when the weekend arrives!!

Every time i come home and open the door its a crazy bird though ,I have been trying to work out where the nest is ,Cleo does not do self service at all
I am waiting for a BT engineer as I have a fault on my Landline it cuts my broad band off when i use it

Afternoon all, just back from a morning in the Belfry and now going to sort the lunch so see you all later :-D

We had birds building nest in/on the chimney we had to have some bird people out to remove it before they laid eggs because if they fell they wouldn't, be able to get out because we had the fireplace boarded up.

I am being plagued by a black bird it must have a nest ,its picking on cleo in the garden who is too scared to move ,now its started sitting on the windowsill shouting ,
Its lost the plot !!!!

Warm and snug now, a lovely casserole in the oven for when I got back so that helped.
