What a lovely thought those flowers were and a lovely surprise :-)

I went out this lunchtime to meet my ex sister in law (my brother's ex). I haven't seen her for about 10 years and lost touch as she moved house. R met her at her son's wedding a few weeks ago and she gave him her phone number for me to call her. We had brunch and a lovely two hours caching up. We have always got on really well

I came home and nodded for an hour. Someone put a leaflet through the letterbox, but left the front gate open, so I went out to close it and there was a beautiful flower arrangement sitting in the corner hidden behind the patio table!! It must have come while I was out. I was really surprised to see that it was from one of the self employed practitioners that works for us in Wales. I often chat with on e-mail when helping her out and I was saying that I was fed up with work and everything being mostly left to me to deal with the closure of the office. She has sent a lovely note with the flowers saying that they were to cheer me up :-) :-) :-) :-) What an absolutely lovely thought! She sent me an afternoon tea hamper last Christmas!!

Boooooooo we had very heavy rain today while we were in York. It is dry and sunny now we are back at the cottage :-| :-|. We are going to get the packing sorted in a little while but I am not packing the rain Maz :-P :-P :-D :-D :-D

I don't think she will maz in fact me thinks she is more likely to leave it at home.

I wish the rain would go away ,we have had thunder storms this afternoon too I hope LG packs it in her bags and takes it south

YG, Hubby needed to go there and I have to go with him, if it were up to me I wouldn't have gone there. :-|

ZZzzz, I haven't been into our town for at least 3 years. I have no intention of going anytime soon and not sure I would know my way around now in the car as they keep changing it all.

Got back from town a while ago and was surprised at how much is going on, buildings demolished and new monstrosities going up, never liked it there anyway and even more so now. :-0
