Another massively busy day today and I am feeling it big time The back is not happy :-( The CEO has been here all day and told me this afternoon not to overdo and ask for help if needed! Not sure where that help is going to appear from :-(

When I left I had to pick C up from work and drive her 9 miles to her nail appointment. Thank goodness her b/ is picking her up from there on his way home. I then went to R's to pick fur up as they have gone to Old Trafford to watch the womens' game. We have been for a short walk and I have to take her home about 10.30ish. I think I will fall into bed then

Well the JCB wasn't much good today so I will try again tomorrow.
Hubby will be driving to the station on Sunday and I will be driving myself back which is good because I will be in the left hand lane all the way and only 1 roundabout, phew.

Well that has whetted my appetite for more digging so I'm off now to see what I find.

My dad's side originate around Bromham in Wiltshire, So called Mother's side were Lincolnshire and Lancashire. Father in laws have gone way back in Wales and France

My Dads side are mostly from the same county but different spellings of the same surname so it was difficult to confirm they were mine, in some cases I needed to come forward to go back, if you know what I mean.

The History Society I help out is the town where my Mum in Law lived from the age of 3 when her Mum died. Her Ancestors were all from the town so that is why I have such an interest in it and it has helped loads with my research on that side of the family.

I did start researching where I live now but had to stop because of covid and I get side tracked easily :-|

I have access to loads of old photos and documents to do with the town every Tuesday but it was lovely to see them in a powerpoint presentation :-D :-D

Ooooo that is good, I'm not jealous...... honest.

I did as it was about the town in the past with loads of information and pictures.

Evening all, just back from the Society talk and very good it was too.

It has been a long shift today and I am shattered tonight. A nice warm shower will hopefully help me feel more comfortable so that I can have a good night's sleep.

The poor old back is having to take the strain of all the clearing of stuff in the office. Having arrived home an hour later than usual, I then realised I had left the phone charger at work, Instead of going all the way back, I nipped down to Asda and bought a new charging cable as I already had a spare adaptor fortunately! I couldn't risk the alarm not working in the morning!!

I am there all week so it is going to be a tough week!!

Good that you are having a chill out Maz, you don't have many. I'm in my pjs, chilling and waiting for Long lost family to be on. :-D
