A few years ago there was a heat wave, not this bad though, and many women didn't have a period because of it. Oh to be a man.

LaGooner Report 10 Aug 2022 20:01

It is quite possible in this heat. My WW coach has the same problem with this weather so she is very sympathetic :-D

I have stir fries, salad, fruit in fact today has been all zero points so maybe I have retained fluid too.

LaGooner Report 10 Aug 2022 19:33

:-D :-D :-D. I have lived on salads nearly all week so it won't be what I have eaten. My feet are swollen today so fluid is an issue. :-|

LOL yes I was told that happens to us girlies, apparently not men though, tucking fypical. :-)

LaGooner Report 10 Aug 2022 18:15

Perhaps you are holding fluid because of the heat. That happens to me but we shall see tomorrow. Perhaps I will be lighter as I have had my hair cut today :-D :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz Report 10 Aug 2022 18:09

Nearly, weight is still the same though :-(

ZZzzz Report 9 Aug 2022 22:32

Ok I will suggest that to him, thanks.

I have used Roundup Systemic on Ivy and brambles and it kills those ok.

I remember buying something that was paired on the leafs not sprayed, don't know why he doesn't use it anymore.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 9 Aug 2022 22:12

That is awful stuff to get rid of, has he tried a systemic weedkiller that might do it.

ZZzzz Report 9 Aug 2022 22:09

What he finds frustrating is the bindweed it's difficult to keep on of and comes from next doors garden.

I have large planters on Artificial Grass but ordinary flower beds at the front with gravel instead of lawn. Our last house had a garden with raised borders front and back and grass so it was high maintenance.

Roughly speaking Blue is outside work for men, Pink is indoors for women. I know I might be shot down in flames now for saying that. ;-)

ZZzzz Report 9 Aug 2022 21:51

I have no wish to learn, if it were up to me I would have pots and tubs on top of gravel easy peasy for me. :-D

LaGooner Report 9 Aug 2022 21:42

Oh dear, I am the gardener around here but OH is learning fast :-D :-D :-D. I have some dead heading to do but other than that it needs no other attention. I may well sit out there tomorrow and rub down some more dolls house parts ready to repaint.

He did enjoy his holiday thanks and he got back 10:00 pm Sunday. He knows I'm not a gardener and I did what he said to do, still ruined it though.
