We are warm for now as he has given it a temporary fix and is sending the engineers out again next week to sort it properly.

Fingers crossed he can.

Well the footie fleece blanket is a good thing, I have a Welsh cot blanket over my legs, it is lovely it is over 100 years old and made of welsh wool. :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have just called the HA and put a few f***s in them and hopefully we will get it sorted. I am sitting here with my footie fleece blanket over me :-D

Weather that same here, winter draws on me thinks, the engineer needs to get his finger out and fix your boiler before it gets really cold. I hope you have had a result since your last post on here.

No engineer yet and we don't pay as we are HA :-D. I will be calling the company again in a few minutes to make sure they are coming
Our shopping bill has gone up the last couple of weeks ;-).
It has just started raining now and it is quite chilly

My first day back and I got soaked .
I have noticed prices climbing up all ,However what I do notice is the number of new phones around and cars at the school gates some may live a distance however I had two miles each way to walk .
We are seeing the need for lunches and food growing ,we are applying for grants to create warm spaces

Afternoon now, has it been fixed? did it cost an arm and a leg? We have done the weeks shopping £105 for 2 people, its outrageous but at least we can cope with it, I feel sorry for those on a tight budget or feeding a large family.

Afternoon all, we have had a good clean through downstairs today. We have waxed all the furniture and steamed all the floors it looks and smells lovely now. Just been to collect the car from her first service and all is well. :-D

I have a hoover upstairs done the stairs and living room so I am gradually getting my energy back .I would like to do the grass .see what happens this afternoon

I am quite outspoken and would be told I wasn't backwards in going forwards.
Using another of the sayings, we are off up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire. I never thought I would be in Bedfordshire one day but here I am :-D :-D :-D. If I said I didn't like the look of something my Mum and Mother in law would say a blind man would love to see it.

My Dad and Nan had really funny sayings which I still often use. OH uses a lot of his Mum and Dad'd sayings too.

I have a few sayings of my Mum and Dads that some don't find funny, like they don't put pockets in shrouds, meaning don't save your money, spend, and with regard to food portions, there is enough for two if one doesn't want any.

I often get funny looks after coming out with some of my sayings and jokes etc. Do I care NO! :-D :-D :-D :-D
