I couldn't cope with just the airer at the moment unfortunately :-D

Gosh I haven't used the tumble dryer for years now and nothing to do with the price of things now, there are only hubby and me so it goes on the clothes airer bed clothes too. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Afternoon all, I am grabbing a few minutes before plating up the lunch. Still B****y freezing here and very dodgy underfoot. A very busy morning washing and thank goodness the last lot is in the dryer now.

I will try to get a hat on her but she is quite timid at the moment and will take time to get to know us.
I am sitting here yawning so I don't think I will be long climbing the stairs either. Nite nite YG, sleep well :-D <3

Aww that is so nice of your OH to buy you a cat, it is an appropriate name too.

Blasted Taxman he certainly likes a good share :-|. I am going to collect my Xmas present on Thursday, OH has bought me a rescue cat and she is beautiful. She is chocolate brown and white,4 years old and her name is Holly. :-D :-D

I received a very unexpectedly received a bonus from my boss for all the work that I did when closing the office. Its never been known before and the only problem is the tax man took 20% of it, as if he doesn't already take enough :-|

I had the same feeling about turning out for the Xmas do but I was fine when I got there. What a good idea putting money towards the meal instead of presents. We had 2 free drinks each paid for by the History Society as thanks for all our work, that was so nice.

I am out tomorrow evening for our Christmas meal treat. To be honest, its so cold, I'm not sure I want to turn out, but I'll enjoy it once I get there! It will probably be an uncomfortable night's sleep as well, on a full stomach :-0

We used to buy each other presents, but as we don't see each other very often, it has got to the point where we don't know what to get for each other, so put the money to the meal instead.

Evening YG, I have some more gifts to buy yet but earlier I did list and wrap what I have bought the mini Gooners.
Our front path is like a skating rink so I had to go extra careful putting the rubbish out for tomorrows collection

You can have our frost, LG. I can't remember being this cold for a long time :-0 :-0

I'm trying to finish off the wrapping and cooking dinner at the same time. Not a good idea, but if I can get a couple of gifts wrapped, I can hopefully finish off the rest whe I have eaten. Then I can 'breathe' :-)

It's f-f-f-f- freezing here too and has barely thawed out all day., At least the fog has cleared and it was brighter this afternoon, but at 3.30 the car windscreen was frozen solid again and the boot lock is frozen.

I'm not sure whether my brain is functioning properly, as i nipped to the local shops, called in for a repeat prescription to be made up, went next door to the diy shop and then drove home, forgetting to go back to the chemist for the script. Locked up for the night, got warm, then remembered, so had to go back :-D :-D

Fingers crossed he has as I have just started to thaw out :-D :-D :-D

And I hope he does a proper job this time.

We have been waiting for the Boiler engineer yet again. I went in the airing cupboard this morning for a towel and there was water everywhere due to a leaky joint in a pipe. He is here now so hopefully we can get warm again soon :-D.

Morning all, I can't believe I'm the first one on here, are you all ok? I hope so. I'm trying to convince Hubby that we might as well go shopping today as the weather will be the same all week f f f ing freezing.
