sorry, I borrowed the drill, then I had to find the drill key... it had fallen in the stew, so I borrowed someone's fishing pole to get it out...

Deck is lookin' good, I watched Tim's tool time for advice.. ignored it and did my own thing.... sweet as... us Kiwis are all into DIY it is in our DNA.

Drill is under your throne in that little drawer where you keep your Arsenal score sheets...

Strawberries are very nice.. my grandson likes them trouble was he dropped it in the grass and then he had greenery to eat along with the strawberries... I much prefer mine with cream, mascarpone or quark...

P xx

Don't worry Aunty, you and Persie can fight over the main throne if you are round in the wee small hours ;-)

MIght try grilled pineapple slices in sugar - the raw fresh ones makes the corners of my mouth sore. :-0

Aunty drags large shopping bag into the Castle kitchen. Phew that was a fast ride. The new streamlined catapult works a treat. Must be the new teflon coated knicker elastic.

I see we each have a number of shelves in the walk in pantry. We will be able to have truly international dinner parties. I have brought vegemite, milo, bananas, lamingtons, pavlova. Several packages of frozen lamb, steak, and chicken. There is also prawns, crayfish, bugs and whiting fillets. An assortment of fruit and veg which will have to do until we get the Castle garden established. That packet contains museli, bread for toast and crumpets.

I have decorated my suite in shades of muted pastel colours as befitting a shy retiring 35 year old fairy wearing a fairy dress a deer stalker hat, hob nail boots, carrying a fairy wand, and accompanied by my faithful striped sabretooth tiger, Spot. The bedroom is burgundy and cream , the bathroom sea green and grey, and my office/computer room is...... WOW!! Aunty shuts door quickly!! We won't worry about that room. Entrance by invitation only.

The sunny breakfast nook is decorated in cream and beige tonings and my blue willow china makes a lovely display. Spot has his own area however, being a sabre tooth tiger he will sleep exactly where he wants to sleep, no argument.

The breakfast area will be handy for quick meals when we are not all gathered in the banqueting hall. We will need a very large table and comfortable chairs for our evening meals and soirees.

I will be able to sit out on my private balcony overlooking the garden. The balcony is surrounded by screens which will activate when the temperature falls below 25 degrees.

Hmmm I think that will do. It all looks very comfortable and peaceful.

Good news Puss, the cleaning is virtual. So long as you pick up the clothes and chuck them in the basket for the laundry staff to wash, iron and return them to your room, the rest of the cleaning is done automatically.

We have enough unmentionable to do in real life without bothering about it in the Castle.
Maz, did we not put in a library and research room. That is definitely on the plan. Plenty of room, lots of lovely stationery, years and years of subscription to certain web sites, and superfast never fail internet connections. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate on tap at all times and glue to replace the hair torn out, well it does happen sometimes.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 22 Feb 2012 12:14

Yes we have a huge library in the castle. Complete ultra comfy chairs so that there will be no numb B***s. ;-)

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 22 Feb 2012 16:34

What a lovely idea to unlimited access to all known subscription data bases (FH of course!)
Do you think we could make arrangements for world wide BMD cerificates as well, or would we have to get the UN or someone else involved? How about WHO, after all, its our mental health that it is effected - lol

(Joke, OK?)

Didn't even think about the unmentionable - that shows how low it is on the radar ;-)

Is this the cyber bedroom, or the real one Maz??? :-)

Passes Puss a Canary to check for noxious fumes

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 22 Feb 2012 19:49

Aunty passes Puss a screwdriver to dig the caps lock key out of the on position. Never could get the hang of reading in capitals. All capitals and text talk drive me crazy, well crazier than normal. If that doesn't work Puss tip t he keyboard upside down and give it a good shake, one of the cyberpets has probably become lodged inside the keyboard.

Our strawberries have finished for the year and are now putting out runners. Down the sides of their raised bed and across the concrete towards the house. OH is "letting them go to see what happens" Once the runners reach the back door I will be out there with my scissors snipping them off. I am not living in a giant strawberry patch.

Access to BDM certificates would be excellent and also to parish records. Need them as required, no waiting and no cost. Ah and may I venture to suggest, deciphered and typed!!!

I have deleted my hiccup from last night. Did not realize it had posted twice, must have happened when I edited a spelling mistake.
