Don't worry uggers. I think I will survive lol I think this is the closest thing that I shall get to a scandal. It may even go down in the annals of my family tree, the day It was revealed I sent a pm. Ok it's not as controversial as opening them but please let me have my moment :)

Couldn't agree more Sylvia:) Although I will add that SRS wasn't asking me to remove anything or suggesting that I should. We sometimes exchange pms with our opinions on things and she was saying that she'd read the post I was replying to differently

what are you trying to do to me Uggers? You've now revealed that it wasn't a one off but I am an occasional pm'r with opinions lol ;)

To be honest I don't see it that way, I just think that Gwen and Carol have a similar way of thinking (as many friends do) and have different opinions to some on here.

Sometimes I see their point of view, sometimes I see the other side. Just depends on what the issue is.

As there appears to be no love lost between you and them and vice versa, it doesn't surprise me that you both appear to pick up on the negative parts of each other's posts and focus on them. However, you all come across as lovely people and not unpleasant at all. You just don't get on all the time which is a shame but not unexpected as that's life.

Its not the similer way of thinking that Im referring to.
We all do that, its called a shared opinion.

We all like to back our friends but this is not backing they are doing, its stirring.

Its one thing to back a friend whom you think is in the right, but its another kettle of fish to manipulate the situation to attack someone you dont like. In this case CP came onto G's thread to be spiteful to uggers.

In fact CP does this an awful lot . quite often with veiled digs posted on G's or in fact any thread after one of us has posted, or a new thread is posted by her which is veiled sympathy towards someone who has been upset which is put up by her hours or days after the initial thread has been deleted by G. (here we are back to the Pm & puppet subject)

Of course by then no one can go back to check the truth in the matter.

Then we have the light the flame syndrome, the thread is posted by either of them, a few more posts in reply are done then once people have taken the bait, CP goes off to do a chore (this varies) & leaves the thread to burn. Next thing we know people are reported & sometimes bans follow.
(the cant type a reply cos I'm looking for posts to report syndrome)

I'd pretty much sussed out the situation last night (quite amazing considering I was on the vino lol).

I fail to understand why it was all made public in the first place tbh. I personally believe that you kept to your word and deleted the pm (for what it's worth) and if you chose to tell someone what you think of them in private then fair play to you..........it wasn't ON the boards and shouldn't have been brought on here in my opinion .....

....seems to me it was an attempt at garnering sympathy and making you look the bad guy.

Can I throw rotten eggs at you please when you do your time in the stocks? LOLOL only kidding. xx

Absolutely not Muffy. I can't have you calling me a merchant and pelting me with eggs all in 24 hours:)

Aha! Some things are becoming clearer.

If it's of any interest to you Uggers, I understood your initial post perfectly clearly, having witnessed the attempted needling by CarolP last night, and I actually never doubted for one minute that you HAD deleted the PM as you said you had.

For one what's the point of lying about it, and two, the experiments following that proved that deleted PMs show in the sent box as read anyway.

I actually do think Carol P owes you an apology, because she got it completely wrong while sitting up there on her high horse. But I doubt that will be forthcoming any time soon.

Teresa, do have a look at Carol's thread as well:) There are two sides to every story you know.

My opinion, for what it's worth, remains the same. :-)

I didn't actually think I'd told the story much differently to Carol, just I'd left it a bit less dramatic I thought.

Well you forgot to copy and paste the contents of said PM, but seeing as you didn't actually open it, why would you? lol
