I don't understand why their reaction is always that there is nothing wrong with the site. Why can't they say that there are problems and theya re trying to fix them? We all know that computers and anything to do with them have glitches. It is the constant denial that annoys me.

I closed down earlier, I'd had enough, I clicked to open a thread and it took ages, in the end up came a message, saying I am now logged off, and thank you for visiting FRIENDS REUNITED !!! I have never even looked at Friends Reunited all the time I have been a member. When I looked at the top, yes I was in Friends. It must be the new owners messing about with it, it's just getting worse.

Well blow me down, I clicked to send above, it came up 'page unavailable' so I clicked on refresh. Next thing was it had logged me out and when I re-connected I was in Friends again. I clicked on green back button and my message was still here in reply box. This is beyond a joke now.

Yup, that's what it did to me. Four times in one hour - between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. my time, i.e. 5 a.m. yours. Really heavy traffic times.

It did have the courtesy to thank me for visiting, though.

I couldn't work out why I couldn't submit replies. Then I realised it had logged me out completely and wanted me to sign in.

I wish more people would complain then I wouldn't feel like a lone voice in the wilderness. Glad you contacted them Jayney.

Well, they got three from me last night. And that was just for the times when I got involuntarily signed out of the site.

I'm usually not affected by the problems I read about here for some reason, but last night (while you all were sleeping -- yes, that would have been an exceptionally high traffic period, that would, all those Aussies having genealogy fits) it was horrific.


It would probably be wise if we all did send reports / complaints every time this stupid site, from which they rake in millions, plays its tricks. It's easy:

I think they have had a few gremlins in the system for a few days now. Most annoying.

I haven't had that message but I keep getting 'page unavailable' also like Havoc posts disappear, in the end I tried clicking on back and my message was still there, clicked again and it went. It's awfully slow as well, I'm fed up with it already today.

Anyone else keep getting this when trying to add posts? Why can't they keep the site going properly there always seems to be problems.
