only men are usually listed on the voters registers as women were excluded as it was only heads of household that were listed. it is usual to search by address the record contains head of household . the years 1914- 1918 are unobtainable for security reasons .. i think it probably starts about 1900s cant remember offhand although you can check that online. there is also an absent voters list for men away from home during war years. |
