After I hum a few bars of Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia. have decided I have no need to type up the Mark Steel article (it is a lot to type) I found it on line..

Well - the kitchen is entirely empty. It has been hard work, but now done thank goodness. The last bits and pieces were more troublesome than the bulk of it. Not knowing what I may need to survive for a few days.

My other sister and her friend arrive tomorrow. Thankfully, they are staying in a local B&B.
We will go to the pub for dinner tomorrow evening.

They speak to me all the time Linda - it is indeed an affliction :-(

We will get Last Night of the Proms next week and we will definately be singing Rule Britannia. OH sings it every time they show the previews :-)
