Well I must also get to bed, it's been a tiring day.

Hope you have a lovely day Sue, and enjoy this evening,

Sleep well Amanda,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

You've been blessed by the fairies Sue :-D

That's marvellous Sue, and good that Maisie hasn't had to spend much time at the rescue centre. She sounds perfect for you.

That's what the organisation that my neighbour helps does. They take border collies out of the rescue centres and send them to foster homes until a permanent home can be found.
Some dogs are very sensitive, and find kennels distressing.

I did Tec - they looked quite pleased to be brought out into the sun again :-)

Tec - my SIL works at our local rescue centre and she was there when Maisie came in. She told me about her and I went in to meet her. She is a quiet but energetic little dog and not at all timid so they don't think she was mistreated. I took to her straight away. The staff are thrilled that she has been adopted so soon.

Amanda - I have bought loads of toys and books for the grandchildren to play with at our house. I bought a Lilliput Lane house for £2 in England. I priced it at £50 when I got home. I was very pleased with that :-D

Amanda your "Fairy Garden" sounds fascinating :-D
Do you happen to have that tiny green leaf'd creeper known as "mind your own business"

It would be perfect for what you are doing.

Sue found fairies buried in it in my garden :-D

Sue , we enjoyed ourselves when we did the charity shops a few months ago , they have some choice ones in Beccles . I think I'll be mostly looking out for " Puddle Lane " books and very small baby clothes ..........but I might come back with something entirely different ..........lol

I have had a go at creating a "fairy " garden in a large broken pot , complete with a winding stairway hedged with moss and tiny ferns . I'll take a few photos of it in a week or so ( if the greenery lives :-S ) .

Did you go to the rescue centre to choose Maisie Sue?

Tecwyn Report 18 Sep 2014 23:29

I was very lucky with the kitchen fitters and the others Sue. They were very tidy, polite, and went out of their way to make things exactly as I wanted them.
The work was done to a very high standard too.

Maisie is a Maltese x Shitz Zu. She is a rescue dog and only one year old. I'm looking forward to giving her a happy home with lots of love.

Goodnight Linda - sleep well <3

I'm glad the workmen left you with a clean and tidy kitchen, Tec. It makes things so much easier when you don't have to clean up afterwards.

Sounds like a lovely day for you and your girls, Amanda. I'm sure you will have a great time.

How exciting Sue :-D :-D Maisie is a lovely name ( our Milo has a sister named Maisie ) , is she the same breed as your dear old Molly ?

Tecwyn Report 18 Sep 2014 23:22

That's a disappointment Sue, but I'm sure Maisie will be worth waiting for, and maybe just as well if you're all going out this evening.

Can't wait for a photo of Maisie - she sounds cute :-)

I am not in the least bit surprised to hear you enjoy toyshops :-D

Thank you Amanda - I usually get birthday wishes the day after my birthday from UK family and friends :-)

Today I was supposed to pick up my birthday present - a lovely little dog called Maisie. I'm a little disappointed that I will have to wait until tomorrow as the vet didn't have time to desex her. She is lovely and I can't wait to bring her home.
