I spent a couple of hours with the Duchess. She was fine, a bit muddled, so we had one or two bizarre conversations :-( but it was a good visit all in all.

Oh well, we all have our cross to bear :-(

Only joking, I delighted to chat to you. My internet keeps cutting out and my leg is hurting from going up and down stairs to sort the thing out. OH is out so I cant send him

I thought you would be warmer by now Huia. It was really cold in the house yesterday, I stuck it out until the heating came on in the evening. OH is out all day, so I will be putting the heating on straight away :-)

I didn't bother to stay up for the eclipse last night as it was cloudy. Anyway I saw and photographed the other one a few months ago. Both were full eclipses here.

My son tells me that they had a light fall of snow in Rotorua at the weekend. I know I felt cold and lit the fire 3 afternoons in a row, thought I had finished with fires for the year.

THe mad man is STILL on the allotments but has been issued with another letter from the committee , he must be off by the 28th Oct anything left after that date will be cleared by the committee and he will be charged for removel . Hopefully he will go this time :-S

Tec , Sue has a sensitive nature :-)

13 months is still a puppy , so I'm sure she will soon forget about her previous existance . Our daughters " rescue " boy " Buster " had been passed from piller to post but he has found his forever home with her and the family :-D
Best not the imagine all sorts of things about her puppies :-(

Amanda please tell Tec that I have a very sensitive nature.

Amanda - Maisie is about 13 months old. The RSPCA told us she hadn't had a litter but our vet says he thinks she has. I don't want to think about what could have happened to the pups. I don't think she was mistreated badly but she was neglected and seems to need lots of cuddles. She's great with children and other dogs.
