I don't think I would like goat meat.

The wild ones here will be seen soon when they come down off the tops as the weather gets colder - they are beautiful with gleaming white coats and huge horns.

I don't like goat meat, only if it is in curry

How do you know Katherine hasn't heard of you. She may say good morning and goodnight to your photo every day :-D

Oooh - Esme knows when Grandma and Grandad is going to pop up on the screen. How cute <3

I have been in love with Katherine Jenkins for years :-D

It is so sad that she's never even heard of me :-(

LindainHerriotCountry Report 15 Dec 2014 21:20

We did Face time earlier on with Eve and Esme. My daughter said that as soon as Esme heard the ring tone, she started waving and smiling at the screen, even though it hadn't connected to us yet

We only have sketchy news over here so far. It is terrible that someone with such a bad record was on bail, all this sadness could have been prevented

Hello Tec - of course you all behaved ;-)

Do I detect a sparkle in your eye when you speak about Katherine Jenkins :-D

Hello sue, it is a sad day in Sydney

I am glad that you got to meet your new sister in law. as she is nice, hopefully you will be able to see lots of each other. It would be nice for your OH to see his brother often, or I assume so anyway

SueMaid Report 15 Dec 2014 21:14

Hello Linda.

Only one of the hostages was shot - the other person had a heart attack and died in hospital. There will be questions asked as to why this dreadful man was allowed out on bail for some serious offences. It could have been prevented. However now is not the time to ask questions. There are some very traumatised people to be cared for.

Hello Sue :-) Welcome back - you were missed. We were all well behaved.

Good that your OHs brother has a nice new wife, and that you all got on, and enjoyed your lunch out.

The events in Sydney were truly horrendous, and dreadful that innocent people died.
We never know when or where these deranged people will appear.

Wow - a whole programme all about Katherine Jenkins :-D
Did anything more perfect ever come out of Wales - apart from me of course :-D

It is sad about the Sydney hostages, it seems two of them were killed as well as the gunman. There seemed to be an awful lot of shooting going on when the troops went in,so I hope they weren't shot by the troops Although one report says the gunman killed one hostage, so maybe they had no option but to go in

Six people have just been killed in Pennsylvania by a gunman, all his family members apparently. The world is going mad

I'm baaaack :-D

We had a visit yesterday from OH's brother and his new wife. After 3 months of marriage he decided we should meet his wife. What a lovely lady she is - it was a pleasure to meet her. They both seem very happy.

After that we went out for a Christmas buffet lunch. The food was wonderful, the desserts even better and we enjoyed the company.

The day however was tinged with sadness as we watched the siege in Martin Place Sydney unfold. Such a dreadful ending to it all :-(
