The weatherman has just promised us two inches of rain tomorrow with strong winds :-D

So that'll be me blown across the carpark at the home again :-0

I try to make Christmas as stress free as possible. Since we started having lunch at our daughter's home it's so much easier. They have a large house and garden so there is plenty of room for the various people who drop in.

I'm ready to go out so I will say goodnight to you both <3 <3

I might buy myself a few little treats next week, including a trifle. Apart from spending a few hours at the nursing home on Christmas Day, I will be on my own over Christmas, so no point in buying much. It won't get eaten.

It wouldn't be a trifle without sherry

I need to organise all the food we need to take with us. It would be easy if I was taking it myself, but I need to liaise with the other grandmother. I will have to bite the bullet and phone her tomorrow

I agree Tec but the deaths of all those poor children is so distressing :-(

I'm going to finish any Christmas bits and pieces today. I have a couple of gifts to buy and cards to post. We are having lunch at my daughter's home on Christmas Day and I will provide the ham, trifle (SIL's request) and some salads.

It's heartbreaking Sue - but we mustn't let them win.

The gnomes look grumpy because they are old men (they have long white beards, so must be old), and all old men are grumpy
