Sorry, there is no wifi here, so I am using my phone.

We have had a nice time, but tonight, the flat next door is occupied my girls screaming and shouting. They are probably going out clubbing soon and will come back screaming in the middle of the night. Oh well :-(

Stellan was first up at 1.20am.

August has heaps of lego so he will be building great cities for a while.

We are up in Auckland for tomorrow night having dinner with the grown up grandies and their mum and dad.

We had Christmas last year with them. We do a year about.. SIL's mother is on one day and we are on the other.

We have been very quiet today.. had roast lamb, veg and stuffing balls tonight for dinner.

Thank you to everyone for all the Christmas greetings and ecards, it is lovely to have so many friends spread all over the world

Good morning , 7.30am here and I am the only one up, in this flat anyway. We have two adjacent apartments. OH and I are sharing with Eves other grandparents. Next door are eve, Esme and her parents, plus her aunt and uncle. The aunt being her fathers sister. They are only staying the one night, whereas we are here for three, so They will be able to se the second bedroom for the next two nights. Eve and one parent will be able to sleep in there to get away from Esme. They swap around at home to try and get a bit of sleep ad Esme wakes up about twenty times a night on her better nights.

No phone call from next door yet, so they are probably still asleep

I started the morning, 6.30 cooking. I received an amazing birthday present from my OH. News papers printed the year of my birth, a long long time ago haha The Melbourne Age and The Mercury, Hobart. I'm thrilled to bits, he knows me so well <3
We haven't had Christmas meal yet, we are waiting for our oldest son to finish work. The Airport never closes!!

Yes Tec New Zealand, at one time was joined up with Australia.. thank goodness someone saw the light and shifted us. Was probably a huge ditch dug to keep us away from all those forest fires. We took the kiwi with us.

I am always amazed that such a small nation as ours 4.471 million plus Stellan can produce so many top athletes... notice I don't say swimmers .. yes we have a few but nothing like Australia but then they need to spend lots of time in the pooool to stay cooool.

Merry Christmas to you all and your families, especially to all the grandies and to Huia for her great grandies as well. Diane will soon be included in the great grandies group.. I don't think my Maia has any ideas along that line she will be 20 end of March.

I will also say Happy Birthday to the lovely Carole there in Victoria.. you were a wonderful present on Christmas day for your parents Carole <3

Eve is mega excited and wad awake very late watching for Santa. She is sharing a room with her parents tonight, so Esme willvwake her up early by crying. When she was going to bed she came back into the room and announced that we had all to be quick and go to bef so Santa could come.

Santa had been although she doesn't know it yet. The reindeers have half eaten their carrots and Santa ate most of his mince pie. At school she made some reindeer food.which looked like muselie with glitter in it. That had been scattered on the windowsill and eaten(or gone in the Bin)

I am just popping in to wish my upside down friends a wonderful Christmas day and the same to my vertical friends in the morning.

Annoyingly they wifi is not working here,so I am having to use my phone as a portable hotspot. My phone needs a new battery, but I can't get one as it is the embedded type, so I can't stay on line long without recharging my phone.
