I wouldn't be here, I would be missing a gt grandfather on one side ( Ireland) and a gt grandmother on the other side (Canada).

I'd be deep in the do do.......if we went a couple of generations back i'm from Eastern European Jews on one line.........and one of my best mates has Italian born parents.......who are lovely and have paid masses of tax to this country and have been upstanding citizens.......they'd be out of the door too under their rules.........

So no........haven't voted for them and wouldn't.

Rose I totally disagree with that man but we have to do something or Britain will sink.
We are only a small island after all and we cannot keep taking in immigrants year after year after year.
I wish we could and in a perfect world then we could.

How come so many end up here when we are surrounded by sea, just HOW do they get across so many countries without being stopped and helped?

Perhaps they should do his family tree on WDYTYA - see how far his British roots go back ... you never know.

I had been looking on ancestry just prior to seeing that , at immigration and emigration, a lot of us would be short some ancestors if that had been suggested and done 'back in the day'( LOL we probably wouldn't be here at all though so wouldn't 'miss' them! )

Nick Griffin:"Frankly they need to sink several of those boats"

The EU should sink boats carrying illegal immigrants to prevent them entering Europe, British National Party leader Nick Griffin has told the BBC.

The MEP for the North-West of England said the EU had to get "very tough" with migrants from sub-Saharan Africa.

Pressed on what should happen to those on board, he said: "Throw them a life raft and they can go back to Libya".

Libya has long been a staging post for migrants from Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa wanting to reach Europe.

Nearly 37,000 immigrants landed on Italian shores last year, an increase of about 75% on the year before.

But with the prospect of a new immigration and asylum policy being voted on this autumn by MEPs, Mr Griffin is advocating measures to destroy boats used by illegal immigrants to reach the EU's southern coastline.

In an interview with this week's edition of BBC Parliament's The Record Europe, he said: "If there's measures to set up some kind of force or to help, say the Italians, set up a force which actually blocks the Mediterranean then we'd support that.


Europe has sooner or later to close its borders or its simply going to be swamped by the Third World "
