I wonder if people who have virtual farms get virtual EU subsidies. Or virtual Foot & Mouth outbreaks.

Lindy Report 6 Jul 2009 18:19

No farm and not on FB and no interest to be on FB.

I am a member of Pogo Games so get to play the games I enjoy, that

does not mean I begrudge others who enjoy FB and make believe farms.

Each unto his own.

Lindy ;)))))))))))))))))

nope - I'm another one with crops to look after in the real world :-)

I reckon the virtual farmers should plant a few bits and bobs in their gardens/on their balconies - tending those (not to mention eating them!) is lots healthier than sitting on their bums in front of the pc pretending ;-)))

I am so pleased to know I am not alone :)

Elizabeth....I have a City Farm only a short bus ride from me
in leafy Leyton lol.

In a former life I was a childminder and would often take the children along to visit the animals. They loved it and so did I :)

I just wish that I could keep my real plants alive this summer. as for a virtual farm ...I think not. I play lots of internet games but virtual stuff no I just don't have the time. If I wanted to spend the time on a farm I would go and work one mud, dung and all.

After saying that I do understand those that do .....after all I play internet games. Nancy Drew stuff

Dear All

Hello,

The only farms I know of are the funny farms,
where a lot of incompetent and lazy employers should be.

The other is the Federation of Inner City Farms, open
to all to see farming methods and to meet the farm animals.

Some good ones down in London.

Has anyone visited one anywhere in the UK?

Best wishes
xx

Jac - I'm the same as you. I have got all on dealing with real crops coming up from the allotment, at present, without getting involved with cyber farms.

You are not alone Jean, i find my real garden enough to cope with. I wonder who thought this one up, very strange.

I havent got one either Jean - nor do I want one!! I have enuf trouble with looking after a house, garden and allotment, without looking after a "virtual" farm.
