Yesterday I thought I made a farm but I didn't understand what I had to do. i think i harvested some potatoes.I can't remember what it was. The computer was playing a tune.I gave up in the end! I'll stick to my plants in my fairyland!
Anyway this farm which I made yesterday isn't in my profile. Most probably just as well!

I agree wholeheartedly, Mildred. I hardly bother looking at General anymore.

I started my farm in desperation when I got mega piddled orf reading some of the miserable news threads on here which seem to have migrated from General (not including the sticky nor genuine people in need of the occasional support threads I may add)

Some people ruddy well thrive on misery, if its not their own, its someone elses :o(((

with all my other hobbies I can do without anything else to take my time which is why i have not bothered. i would rather be making cards or doing my scrap book, or reading, or taking photos, or writing letters or playing in my garden or occasionally chatting on here if i can find anyone to chat to who is not out milking the cows or feeding the pigs Lol!!!!

SueMaid Report 6 Jul 2009 21:15

I feel like that sometimes, Whirley. Then something comes up and I'm off and running again. I took a chance on finding out who a great uncle married and sent for the certificate and got the right one. Now I'm enjoying looking up that family line.

Don't dare even look at the farms on FB - I'm scared I'll get addicted:))

I resisted getting one for ages........but now I have one I can understand all the fuss.

Couldn't have come at a better time for me........nice and relaxing........takes my mind off my problems for a while.......and an added bonus.......lots of mates dropping by for a chat.

Can totally see where the sceptics are coming from though......I was one once lol xx

Of course, Whirley, you're right it's different strokes for different folks. :)

I find I can always de-stress and lose myself in my tree research
which if you think about it is just as weird as a virtual farm lol.

Hi Mac...hope you're feeling a little better today :)

Yes Stray.... I've noticed your not about as much as you used to be. Must be the gorgeous Baby Satan keeping you busy :)

I don't have one either Jean, I dare not.......they are addictive, or so I have heard.......I sit on my hands every time I am tempted to go on it......lol....

The way my Sis, and members of GR are progressing, they must already own most of England......lol

I love my farm. Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes.

I work hard in the real world, as many of us do, and running my small business is reasonably stressful, so my virtual farm does help me to unwind when I take time out. I do other things of course in the real world but my farm & building it etc is relaxing & it's just a bit of fun.

MrDaff Report 6 Jul 2009 19:13

I want one....just to try on those rainy days when I can't get out into my garden... which I love...... but although I have tried, I must be a real numpty, cos I can't find it... my farm, I mean.......

Next week, I shall start scrapbooking, and also intend to play with my family tree again, now that my concentration is marginally better, lol

Anyone want an unopened cyber farm, or shall I advertise on Freecycle? lol

Love

Daff xxxx
