feeling confrontational tonight :)

pop up a subject, argue one way and we will see if we can have a rational opposite view ...

I think that we should revert back to Marathon instead of Snickers, Jif instead of Cif and Opal fruits instead of whatever they are called now.

Not confrontational but would like help with an explanation for my nephew.

He says the horizon does not exist because all of the fish would fall out of the sea when they swam there and he wants to know if there is a big waterfall over the horizon. This from a child who lives bt the sea.

I am stumped for an easy explanation

Edit - Snickers have always been Snickers in Aus. and Starburst have always been Starburst. You lot are soooo behind the times:))

Libby, yes I am special :) I have a supreme intellect hidden inside this mumsy exterior, I have grace and humour and kindness..... ( and the home hub was cheap lol half price internet for the first 3 months and then still cheaper than previous provider)

The fish do fall out of the sea but some of them haven't reached the horizon yet and that is why there are still fish in the sea.......for now.

The fish do fall out of the sea, but God has put a big net at the edge and he tips them back in....but of course that pre- supposes the existence of God, which can only be proven by falling off the edge of the world ...................sooooo best to have a bar of chocolate and watch CBBC for a bit with auntie Libby ;)
