Also, I remember Plaid was quite popular as well - this is well before the Bay City Rollers bastardised it! What the heck is this thread all about? I cant be bothered to read it all - quick precis please, cos I have to go out. Ta muchly Jac xxx

	it was in the fifties originally lol, the 80s was the 'revival' ( I was a baby in late 50s but my mum kept her paisley skirts)
