Blanch Hunt off Corrie lol not

I would like to have my Nana Richardson as I never knew her but my eldest sister did and she said she was lovely, my Nana Scott was a right divil lol she could drink like a bloke and she always wore her hair brill creamed back. I was the only one who could get money off her cause she was a tight sod lol. She used to save up her pennies for me when my mam, dad and I visited her every Saturday afternoon. She was a right battle axe but I loved her.

But if I had to choose off here I would go for Granny Grumps, Stella by Starlight and June of the Roses cause they are young at heart and fun to be around.

Certainly mamiddau is my adopted 'wyres' (granddaughter) and a lovely one she is. My own nanna died some years ago at age 98. She was wonderful.

I've already adopted Meriweather as my Cyber Mamgu (although she's Faaaaar to young).....but theres a few that would be nice to adopt...although I suspect they would be quite offended as they are NO WAY near old enough,,,or I am not young enough! loL!

My Grandma was very strict she was RC my Nana was super cool she told us dirty jokes we didnt understand...she swore she drank tea with whiskey it and told us it was her medicine she slurpped her tea out of a saucer to annoy my mother she broke wind anywhere and blamed anyone else...she pushes her way to the front of queues and just didnt care...she stop any conversation with regards who was talking if she didnt want to listen and held court, if she wanted to be the centre of attention she was..and gowd help anyone who tried to stop her she was funny and entertaining.....when she was 82 she grew so tired she fell asleep and never woke up..she was a lovely Nanaxx

I grew up without my grandparents as we emigrated to Australia. I was the first granddaughter for my paternal grandfather Dad's mum had passed away when Dad was a child and my Mum's parents and apparently adored by them so they must have missed me. I never saw any of them again and missed my gran by 4 months as she died when OH and I were planning our first trip back. I felt bad for me but more so for gran cos she knew we were coming. I can remember on that trip - we had mum and dad with us and as we walked to gran's house to visit my uncle my mum took my hand and dad took my other hand and mum said that the last time we walked to the house I was 3 and they had both held my hand then - I cried.

I only knew 1 nanny, that was my Dad's mum and she was brilliant, she came to live with us after she had a stroke and because she did that my mum was able to go out to work and provide a better standard of living for us. She used to spoil me and my brother rotten.

If I had to adopt someone to be my Nan then it would be someone like Julie Andrews in her role as Maria Von Trapp.
