That's a shame Tina, but do enjoy your other hobbies and all the best for the future. Perhaps make it to the Chester meet also?

Don't think we've spoken much, but I have enjoyed reading your threads and comments. It's a pity so many members are leaving, but I suppose if you have achieved what you set out to in the way of doing your family tree, then it has been time well spent.

I joined to do the same, and found it without having to look, as rellies I hadn't seen for years, and one in Aus I didn't even know existed contacted me, they did it all for me. lol Just stuck with the Irish side of it.

Wishing you well in the future Tina.

...... to all the lovely people I have befriended on this site.

I have had a really good laugh since joining in 2007, and have learned a lot from people, on where to research for free or subscription. I dont consider myself a complete novice any more lol.

To all those that have helped me I "thank you from the bottom of my heart".

It has been a hard decision to make, as I do enjoy reading peoples posts, whether it be sad news, good news or just a plain argy bargy row of a thread lol

I have done quite a bit in finding my ancestors, some have been quite an eye opener. I am not a name collector and have 267 people in my tree, but to me they are my family and am proud to have been able to find them. Especially as I was a foster child and lost touch with my real family.

I need to concentrate on my other hobbies, especially my harp, where obviously my board name derives from - I must get past Greensleaves and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star! LOL Also catch up with all my reading, knitting and watercolour painting. Gosh I am just so talented PMSL!

If there is anybody who would like to keep in contact, please do PM me and we can exchange Email Addy's.

I am still attending the Swansea Meet whether I am a GR member or not - I have got my tickets and am coming along WMSL. Another thing I have learned is all this shorthand speak, although cannot remember all of it so mostly stuck to LOL.

My membership runs out midnight tomorrow, so I still have time to have a few belly laughs on the boards or cry at the sad ones.

I wish you all peace, happiness and most importantly good health.

with lots of love,
God Bless
