Purple Liz

Thank you so much for your kind words.

I will be back, I am just taking a big step back for a while. I shall miss my "cyber friends and family" too much not to come back.

The response has been amazing, on this thread and PMs.

Lots of love

Hello Jean

Thank you too for your kind words, as you say our other hobbies are pushed to the background in favour of GR, but then I suppose that is not a bad thing, as its like a huge family on here, when we need a hug we can get one and in need of a good laugh then we get that too. Also like familiies there are the spats and disagreements, but we still come back.

Take care.

Lots of love

Berona, thank you too for your kind words.

Yes indeed the harp is a beautiful instrument and one which I have always wanted to play all my life. I am no musician believe me, so it is going to be tough going. I have put off learning how to play it long enough. Actually its not dissimilar to learning the piano, its just remembering what hand plays up the harp and down lol. Reading and understanding the music is probably the most difficult - in my case.

I would ideally love to have a few proper lessons, just to stop me making any major errors. But then I am not going to be a concert harpist, just playing it for pleasure at home.

OH said he wished he had got a bigger one for me - I said hold on 29 strings is quite bit enough to learn believe me! LOL

I always wanted to learn to play the harp, Harpstrings. I do envy you. I haven't posted very much with you, but I know that you are a friend of a good friend of mine, who speaks well of you.

I do wish you all the best, and I do hope you enjoy the South Wales meet.

Hwyl fawr,

Only just found this thread, I know you have gone now, but I expect you can still read posts, just not add.

I'll look out for you busking with your Harp down the underpass in a few months when youv'e had more time to practise - that place behind Debenhams - its a dangerous place you know, but where the buskers tend to hang out lol.

All the best and remember - you can always rejoin when the nights draw in and the weather gets colder.

Hope to maybe catch up with your antics in a few months if you renew. At least you have bowed out with Style (who would expect anything less) enjoying the good things about the site and to spend time on other hobbies.

None of this - I hate GR business and am never coming back and like a YO YO they are back again and again .......

Enjoy your hobbies and we will all look forward to seeing you again when you get the itch to spend more time on your tree again .... it will happen :)

All the best.
