Shooting someone for reporting a thread is a bit harsh dont you think lol

I think its all gone a bit daft on here of late for reporting, if people dont like a thread just dont post on it and post on the ones you do enjoy, shame people feel that their opinion and likes and dislikes are more important that anyone elses.

I have been so busy this morning, I'm exhausted.

Sorry to see the Sherwood Forest thread go, I was an excellent serving wench on there for a while and had a lot of laughs...sorry it's gone Ann

We are just guessing that it might have been him, Posh. It might not have been, but in view of the many non-genealogy threads on Gen, why pick on the Sherwood thread to complain about?

Unless, of course, someone added to it while nobody was looking except the one who complained?

I must be honest I didn't see the thread but having just taken a look over on General, Most of the threads aren't Genealogy based so it's left me wondering why pick on Ann of GG's thread??? xxx

I have to admit that I'm one of those who told him he doesn't have to read the posts which are not related to genealogy, but there are some people for whom the boards are an outlet and he should consider them.
Others told him how they felt about it too in similar fashion.

It was HIS thread and it wasn't up long before it was deleted. Hh..mmmmm

I forgot to add that I think its disgusting that someone finds it necessary to report a harmless thread like that one. I think some people need to find a bit more to do with their lives!

In my personal opinion, and please bear in mind, that it is only that, I think someone has got a downer on 'normal' postings and their posters. In there vengence for having been on the recieving end of some trouble on here, they have decided to report some of the most very innocent posts, to get their own back on GR members in general.
Yes, some very strong words here, but no matter how it is put, think about it.
