There's a house in Romsey called 'The Old Bricklayers Arms' - it used to be a pub owned by my 6 x grandad - who was a Bricklayer!!

There used to be a pub outside Andover called the 'Why Not'.

If I had a pub, I'd hand it over to my eldest (an excellent 'front of house' person) and her partner (a very good chef).
It would probably be called 'The Silent Partner', 'How did I get into this Mess' or 'The dreaded MIL' LOL

The Cock and Pineapple.

(There's a weather vane on the Town Hall clock tower in my home town and it looks like a cockrel perched on top of a pineapple - I always thought it was an excellent name for a pub)

Failing that "The Weary Banker" if it was in the City.
