I truly admire you Daff as I have never ironed a duvet cover in my life! lol As my washing machine has broken down I left a load of sheets and stuff at my launderette this morning and they came back beautifully folded. My dragon mixed up her debit with her credit card (she has macular degeneration so cannot put in a pin number and anyway would forget it!) so she had to be sorted out....she is making some peculiar decisions moneywise but there is nothing I can do about it. Sad, really.

Anyway, it's pouring rain and I have two free days to spend wisely, foolishly or any other I way I choose! lol

~~~~~ to everyone.... BC, they are a nightmare, boys, aren't they? I have started to look at flats for him in the university area of Hull.... and he won't be going until the autumn, lolol
Maz, I know what you mean....I didn't get my nap yesterday.... I got carried away on here, and when I did go upstairs, I could see all the cobwebs on the cobwebs, lol... so today, tah rah... I am going to be swearing in the bedroom!!
Sheets are currently swishing away gently, scrubbing their backs in the washing machine... I have eyed up the ironing board... one of my little luxuries is ironed bed linen, but I haven't been doing it as it knackers me before I've even got the first fold done... bedding is superking sized, so heavy and big!! Mmmm today, though.........
~~~~~~ to Ann

Right... off to work we go tra la la la la la lahhhh!!

Love

Morning Maz (I am always on your 'tail'! lol). i got up early by mistake this morning, so I can afford to waste some time:-) Nice morning by the dim look of it and not too cold. My dragon was in a state last night as a supermarket refused her credit card and as I know she has loads in the account I hope she has not done something foolish! Daff, I love my baby boy to bits but I truly could not live with him! So you are doing good! lol

Have a good day everyone:-)

Wmsl... cheeky monkey, lolol! But I am only practising my art at the moment..... I shall have it perfected in a couple of years time... wait til he's 40 and thinks he is home and dry, lolol!!

What do you mean Daff in a few years time????

It is cold today, I think my heating will be going on soon.

MrDaff Report 1 Feb 2010 12:38

Lol Mummo.... I'd be tempted not to trust him even on a skirting board ladder, lol.... can you get safety harnesses, do you reckon ;¬))

Ann... he does, doesn't he? He is chastened though... not often he gets a ticking off from his dad! In a few years time, I will pay him back by being a recalcitrant, rebellious, truculent old woman.... and move in with him for a while... that'll learn him, lol

R has gone shopping without me... I am off to bed for an hour or so.... I just can't get warm today, the heating is up full blast, too.

Ann it was a free standing one but he brought it because it had a special safety bar on it but would you believe it that night he never put the bar across !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mind you didn't help as the bannisters were right next to the ladder so when he fell he went right over and hit the stairs half way down so quite a drop, x

Mummo, the ladder Eddie fell off, was it a free standing one or a fixed loft ladder? We have the latter and I have looked to see how easy it would be to fall off, luckily where ours is I think it is very safe.

Daff, he certainly need to develop communication skills doesn't he?

Daff the only ladder Ed will be going on is a skirting board ladder, lol. x

Morning everyone.... sorry I didn't get back on yesterday... we had a few internet problems again... I think it is just Sky playing up at the end of the month, lol.... and I had a bit of a sleep, and a lazy day in general. Didn't even cook a dinner, we had left over sausage casserole with garlic bread.... strange, but ok. It filled a gap.

Just got back from the Rheumatology clinic... all seems ok, just been referred for physio, and at least we know it ain't lupus or RA.... just general wear and tear, or as a result of the AML.

We had a very heavy frost last night.... and the moon was so bright it disturbed our sleep... it shone straight into our bedroom windows most of the night. It was pretty, though.

Son got back yesterday evening, thanks, Ann... R has read him the riot act, he should have phoned me, especially as he had said that he would have a nap and then drive straight back. He has my old mobile, (other son got me a new one from Santa) and I have topped it up, so I know he has credit when he has Littlie in the car. So no excuse, really.

I have an impatient hubby... he is home today, and we are off out shopping for boring old food!

Mummo.... hopefully, Eddie will be up and dancing by Easter time, lol... hide all ladders! ;¬))

Morning........Well February 's here and it will soon be Christmas, lol.
Woke up this morning and there was a hard frost and everything was white but the sun is quickly melting it.
Not a lot on the agenda today, mind you will be funny when Ed is up and about again and we will be able to go out and do " normal " things.
Hope you are all keeping warm..............summer will be here soon and we will be moaning about how hot it is, lol.
Bye for now, x
