Sorted.... yes, I think they did... it was at the service for Suzee..... I found the docs for that, and Maggie's MOT, plus all the new insurances that I sorted out when B came home... they were all neatly tucked away, not in the spot I always used to tuck them, but in a smart new folder down here, labelled in my handwriting... still can't find Suzee's MOT but no matter... it has to be her cos Maggie is current... so my little yellow peril will be serviced on Wednesday... and I bet it's me that takes her in!

I am still tired, so a bit grumpy today.... I might take myself back to bed for an hour... folks will just have to put up with a grotty kitchen floor, lol

I am sure that both cars had problems close together last year.

MrDaff Report 22 Mar 2010 10:23

Lol Ann... great minds think alike!! He is showering as I type, and will go and get the milk, and some bread, and some butter...... in fact, he can do the provisions shop to tide us over the next couple of days!

He had got over his wanderings.... but night before last he was late, so he has stayed up all last night, will go for a nap later, and then hopefully stay awake until a reasonable bed time tonight... he is going up to fetch Littlie on Friday, so needs to be sleeping *normally* by then.

I feel very *heavy* today, and really can't stir myself to do much... I have to dig out the MOT docs for the cars... R did it last year as I was poorly, and he can't remember where he put it, so I think it is Suzee who needs doing, but it might be Maggie... and Suzee will be the car B takes up to Scarborough, so will have to be done. I know one is March/April time, and the other is Oct/Nov but can't remember which way around.... R did both last year. I have a vague recollection of Maggie failing because of the suspension and needing lots of pennies spent on her... but I also know that Suzee had a lot of pennies spent on her as well around the same time....

If I don't look, I shall start to fret, so here we go, tearing the house apart.

I used to be very particular about things like that... I still have all the old cars, and these, up until the 2008, in their own folders..... Insurance, tax, MOT certs etc all neatly together. Be blowed if I know where they are now.

I really do have better things to be doing with my time.

Morning all..... especially lovely to see you Jac, old or new! Are you going for the Dr Who-type regeneration? I am told the feeling of well being and conquer-the-world-itis is especially wonderful after a course of vitamin B jabs.... a neighbour had them last year. You have had so much on your plate as well.... what is the betting you put your tiredness down to that?

I am pleased to hear that your brother is coping well... white food, is that a neutropaenic diet? It was very restrictive, and no reheating of anything, either, so quite expensive and time consuming for poor hubby.

BC.... just slob out today... go on, I dare you! It is your day off, after all! And there isn't a great deal of chocolate in those bunnies is there? Not even a bar full if you squish it all up..... mwah!

Maz, it looks hazy here, but cold and windy out.... I fancy hibernation mode today, but can't!

Oh well, better go and have some brekkie, a shower, and then nip out to the shop for milk.... son was up all night, is still awake, but he has drunk a full litre of milk! Good job I hid a bit for my morning cuppa, lol.

Have a lovely day

Morning girlies! quick one as normal! glad to see everyone seems to be in the Pink! keep it up.

Off to Quacks in a moment as I am apparently deficient - lol - well you knew that I suppose. B12 apparently so having 6 injections over 2 weeks and then 1 injection every 3 months thereafter. They tell me I will be a new woman (which is good, cos I am fed up with the old one)

Brother started 2nd course of chemo last week, and aside from feeling bone weary and bored with his "white" diet, seems to bedoing OK. Some days better than others which is to be expected.

Sun out - board jumping - I'm off. Take care all.

I keep losing what I have written...... I am sure I had added a long essay to this earlier!!

It is beautiful here, lovely sunshine... I was up late, as I went to bed with heavy duty painkillers last night.... and they knocked me out. Fine now, though

~~~~~~~ to Jude.... Hope Vic enjoys himself... what are you going to do with your day?
BC, that is the problem with doing anything creative... it creates mess alongside masterpiece, lol. Bet it looks wonderful... and your hair, too. Titian? ;¬)
Maz, you've probably been and got back from church by now... is it still nice up your way?
Mummo, aw bless, he'll be watching over you. We are having chicken today... it's the size of an ostrich, no kidding! Have a lovely saunter in the sunshine... it'll do you both good.
Ann, the more I do in mine, the more I find to do.... and I want to be out there while the sun is shining, but the living room is manky... the cats are all shedding, so I could probably knit a blanket with the fur they are so generously spreading everywhere *sighs*
Oh well, off to start dinner.... I am so looking forward to the time when, apart from the meat, I will be using all home grown food on the table.... I planted tomatoes, potatoes, beetroot (again) dill, salad, and courgettes, cucumber, and onions yesterday and today. I also washed out loads of containers and pots... and son has planted stuff too, not sure what, altogether, but there are a few more pots out there than I left yesterday. I will go and have a look when I have had my shower, as they are out the front!
Have a wonderful day, everyone.
Love
Hi Ann, physio reckon its still going to be several more months as Ed is really stiff after nearly 4 months in bed and he has a lot of muscle wastage but he is working hard but is still in so much pain from his back and when he does do a good workout with physio he always ends up being sick later on in the evening ?????
Good afternoon, been busy in the garden this morning, lovely day here.
Mummo I do envy you a walk along Southsea sea front, although it must be hard work pushing the wheelchair. Is Ed showing any improvement for the physio?
Morning Maz, Daff and all;) Lovely, mild morning here, the rain seems to have drifted elsewhere. Had a busy day yesterday, I finished the bathroom painting and had my hair cut by my good friend and as I only allowed him ONE glass of wine, all went well. lol I now have to clear up all the mess I made.
Hope you all have a happy day.
