Morning Daff and all:)) I would like to add a tone of refinement but my one and only fridge magnet has a gingham clad wide eyed Fifties housewife and the words 'Amazingly enough, I don't give a ****' Why my friend thought it was appropriate for me, I have no idea. lol

I didn`t get to go to the Lebanese restaurant as was feeling off colour for a few days, just a virus I should think, or all that hugging and kissing at the P*** Meet the other day...

Lovely day here, have just gone and changed doctors and had to fill in a hundred forms..tsk tsk...as I sat there filling them in, two of my neighbours came in and warned me (in a whisper) that the doctors were useless....pml...ah well...

Hope you are all having a lovely day. Sun is blazing down now after a chilly start.

Daff, I also have a little pottery plaque thingy, bought at the garden centre, and hanging on my kutchen door frame. It has the image in relief of a cork and corkscrew, and says."I love to cook with WINE, sometimes I even put it in the FOOD".
Just about sums me up ,I think
Have a good day, what ever you are doing.

Morning all..... it is freezing, and a bit dull, but the sun is trying to force it's way through the clouds.... my little icon is telling me sunny and 6deg so fingers crossed xxxx

I really love all those fridge magnets, lolol I have a couple of mugs as well......

Has anyone seen Just Jean recently? I was thinking of her earlier, and thought I haven't seen her for a while.

Maz, I am emptying my freezers at the moment, as I want to get it ready for my vegetable glut, lolol...... I do live in hope! But it would be very nice if we could have some home grown vegetables on Christmas Day this year.

Today we are having vegetable, cheese and bacon hot pot, lolol..... I need to do a big shop tomorrow, so will use up all the bits and pieces left in the fridge, plus the cheese needs to be used up. It is a bit like a lasagne, only I use potato slices instead of pasta, and a white cheesy sauce. It is scrummy!!

Wmsl @ Susan.... that's ok, then, I shan't fret trying to remember, lolol..... cos my rememberer is broke!! ;¬))

Ann, I do hope you are resting that arm????

~~~~ to Julie Ann, you were right, it was freezing, I thought, last night...... brrrr!
Oh, my little sun has now got a cloud.... and the real sun is out!! ?
I have written my *to do* list... it gets very boring, lolol The same couple of things on it, and I never get any further!! I want to change our bedding, but Jethro always finds a muddy puddle just before he *helps* so it is hard work.... so I might wait until R is home at the weekend! ;¬))
~~~~~~~~~ for BC when she looks in, and a ~~~~~ for anyone reading this!!

See you later.

Hello everyone,
I haven't been around much ,I have been looking after grandchildren and have been busy making cards and doing a bit in the garden.
Someone (OH) has passed their cold germs to me and I have been sneezing and coughing for the last couple of days and now I ache because of coughing so much. Didn't get much sleep last night either.
Well that's my moan over .

I have 2 magnets that have saying I like,
1st is 'Young at heart (other bits slightly older)' ..
2nd is 'The opinion of the husband of the house is not necessarily that of the management.

Well take care all
bye for now

Evening all.... well, that was exhausting!!!! But done and dusted... I have no reflex in my left knee, wonder what that means, lol..... It took ages!!

So we wait, now... 2 to 3 weeks, to see whether I shall be forced back to work to get my NI paid, lolol

~~~~~~ to Susan...... I shall start tomorrow, too.... erm, what are we starting????
Ann, that sounds like a good shop, lol...... and R doesn't do shopping at all, just trails around looking woebegone, lolol
Maz, I am not surprised you are worn out! You haven't stopped! Now chill.... do as you're told!
Wmsl at Julia and Mau's sayings.... my two favourite have to be *My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance* or.... *If you want the best seat in the house, move the cat*
In the middle of cremating dinner.... lamb curry, so hopefully they won't notice too much, lol.... it just caught on the bottom, so I changed pans, and hopefully it will be ok.
Best go and put some rice on, and R's spud in the oven.
Have another try lady, you are not getting off that easily. It was really cold here this morning as there was no sun until about 2pm but it is sunny now and warm where it is sheltered. I have just been sitting reading in the conservatory and it was almost too warm.
Ah
So this is where you have all been waffling~~~. What a beautiful day. Slightly chilly but still nice.
The trouble with this weather is that one can see the dust and dirt everywhere.....where to begin?.....I know...I will start tomorrow.
Sheesh!...I have forgotten how to waffle properly...must watch carefully and sit a re-test :-)))
Arm doesn't really feel any better but I am ignoring it. Feel fine in myself so have been into town spending money. 3/4 length sleeve top, pair of flat shoes (white), T shirt and black cardi. (OH was at golf, he had a meal booked as it was a match so i had a tuna jacket and salad out. Got to go into town tomorrow too as I have the chiropodist but it was good just meandering around on my own. OH likes shopping and is fine but doesn't 'do' meander, you have to have a purpose (i.e. what are we looking for???)
Daff you slipping through loopholes, shall I say it??? yup! bet you're pleased you are slim enough!! Hope you got them sorted anyway.
Mummo, How annoying, I hope you have contacted the right people and complained loudly! How very stupid since when did no steps become 8 steps? Sham though looking over the sea would have been good.
BC what do Lebanese eat? Enjoy your meal.
Julia, hope the sun comes out while you have the urge to cuprinol. Our fence could do with it but no way can we get to the fence behind all the climbing plants.
Daff, we have loads of extra aquilegia coming up, not sure where T put those you gave him but I am sure they are growing.
