Daff,
I have enough bad habits already - I don't think I shall pick up any more!
Now go and settle down for a restful night.

Lolol.... I am soooo fond of telling others to rest, as well, lol.... I have been to bed... had Littlie popping in and out to make sure I was ok, or to help her... she has to use the bathroom loo, will only wash her hands downstairs.... haven't a clue why... so has been using that as an excuse to pop in and cuddle for a bit. But at least I was resting!!
I will be going to bed early, as well.... like in about half hour.... promise!!
Love and (((((((hugs)))))

Wmsl , Karen.... that was brilliant... didn't show my bit of Newport, though!! lolol
Just a quick pop in.... Mummo, fingers crossed your mum has a gentle passing, and Ed is right, she can probably hear or sense that he is there with her. ((((hugs))))
Ann, sounds great ~~~~~~ to the birthday boy and wishes him a very happy *rest of the day* mwah!
BC, so glad you enjoyed your trip with the children, lol brilliant, isn't it?
Mau, yes, the meet is in Newport, near the town centre... just a week to go now, and I am really looking forward to it.
Maz, that was sooooo funny.... and just like sheet changing day in our house, as well.... hysterical, isn't it??? lolol
Hospital... well, no wonder I have been tired,lol... my bloods are right back down, but not down far enough to cause a major panic... enough to make me feel unwell, though. I have been given antibiotics in case I have had/have an infection... I might not have known about it, even, but my bone marrow would take longer than normal to recover anyway. I have to go next Friday and let them use me as a dartboard again... I thought they said if my bloods were still down, but hubby says they are doing it anyway... yuk, not my favourite test. Oh... bone and bonemarrow biopsies.. I didn't say which test.
He just wants to reassure himself (and me me me!!) that it has been a bug, and not a lead in to a full relapse, but we did talk about what my treatment would entail in those circumstances. He thinks the drop would have been much more dramatic, but he needs to check.
Some folk will do anything to get to see a handsome fella more frequently, won't they, lolol!
To be honest, I knew that things weren't wonderful... I half expected to have a full on AML relapse, so this was actually a huge relief.
I am off to loll about in bed for an hour or so, R has started the wrapping in cotton wool syndrome again, lolol
See you all later.
Love and ((((hugs)))))
Edit: my consultant has just telephoned me... his wife will kill him, he is supposed to be going home early as he has a two week family holiday planned, lol
He has been and had a good look at my samples for himself... he phoned to let me know he could find no sign of any blasts whatsover, which is excellent, as some could be expected to seep out.... but warned me that this is not a full guarantee... but it increases the probability that there are no blasts in my marrow. The biopsies will hopefully confirm that.... it is the only way it can be confirmed. It is still a niggle in the back of your mind though.
So, I am feeling a lot better than when I left the house this morning...

Oh Maz l wonder how long it takes you to change the bed, lol. Daff, hope your not over doing it in the garden ????? but so good of you to be doing it. Ann hope your weeekend goes well and that T had a good day yesterday. ~~~~~~ to everyone else. Busy day here today, District nurse in at 10.am then the Doctor and the cancer nurse ( thats what mum used to call her ) in around miday and its my nieces birthday today (25) she my brothers daughter who we're staying with and as you can all imagine we hope mum gets through this day as my niece is so close to her l hate to think she passed away on her birthday. Mum is still battling on, we sit here and can't believe she is still with us, her breathing is very shallow and she has a few groans and she did come round for a few minutes yesterday but can't talk to us now but we are talking to her all the time. Bless Ed he gets up early every morning to sit and talk to her and holds her hand as he says she knows he is with her. Ed and l did pop out for a hour or so yesterday to Dunelm as l wanted some new towels for the new wet room and managed to get what we wanted. Hope you all have a really good weekend, xx
PS sorry Ann should have said .........hope T has a good day today. ( senior moment ) lol. x

Yes it was a nice surprise, would have been better had they said before that they wouldn't want a cooked lunch Sunday but would just have sandwiches before they left for home. Not to worry, we will just be eating chicken all week!! They will get here about 7 ish I expect tomorrow.
Going to Cheltenham tomorrow. OH's choice as he can have a glass or two of wine with his lunch if we are on the bus.
Hope all goes well tomorrow Daff.

Well... that is unexpected Ann... and I always enjoy anything off the cuff as it means I haven't exhausted myself cleaning!! Have a lovely weekend, and just relax and enjoy it....
Littlie will be staying with us a little longer this time... she is a little unsettled this visit, as a lot has been going on at home.... it will all come out in the wash......
Ginnie, ours are beginning to look a bit lush, too... lots of sunshine and lots of rain have made for luxuriant growth for some things (parsley is doing well) and just drowning other stuff!!
I might be late on the boards tomorrow... clinic day, lol, this is the longest I have been, and I am a bit nervous... daft, I know... but there you go!! 10 weeks since my last appointment.
Take care, and have a lovely day tomorrow, just in case I don't get online until late.
Love and ((((hugs)))))

Hi to all, Well it was a beautiful morning but now raining and the council gardeners are getting soaked, they are trimming back the shrubs on the gardens opposite my home, the shrubs have really taken off this year but will soon look good again. Have to get around to doing some tidying in my garden as well so hope it is dry this weekend and I may make a start lol.
Hope everyone is having a good day and Daff enjoys her day playing out lol.

No not hayfever, chest feels a bit tight and a little dry cough but l'll survive, lol. Mum really hasn't been too good all day , she has been in so much pain and the district nurse has had to come out twice today to give her some injections to help her, also the doctor came and they have upped the dose in her driver of a couple of things (sorry donot know the names,) and we were told with them doing this she will not wake as much but l told them as long as she is out of pain then we didn't mind.. we have been told if we have another night like last to call the nurse and they will come out. Mum has had such lovely people looking after her and for us as a family is a blessing. x
