You mean Daff that your counsellor did not immediately requst to sign up with us. Was it the orange uniform or the yellow wellies put her off? No doubt she now thinks we all need counselling. (Hmmm Nah, we don't we are normal I think!) I tried to read bits out to T but he looked at me, half smiled then left the room, no doubt thinking that fall did me no good at all!!!

*Marches smartly onto thread wearing new yellow teddy bear pj's*

Do you like??? They are a little bit tight, I know... but as I shall lose weight (what a way to diet, ladies, lolol don't recommend it ;¬)) they will do. They didn't have any bigger blouses.... ot tops. The bottoms are fine, it's me bazookas that are the problem...

Wow!! You all look, stunning... I was trying to tell my counsellor about you all. You should have seen the look as I trailed off into hysterics, lol I think she is going to recommend a new counsellor, pdq!!

The mace is a brilliant idea... oh, and I know that the lovely crazy ruminant has a whip. I have the photos to prove it... she might lend it to you, Julia, lol

BC the stilettoe wellies look superb. And you have a 24 hour pass, please ensure you use it wisely and carefully. You will be confined to barracks if you waste a dro... er I mean second of it ;¬))...

Carol, your bum sooooo does not look big in that, and I love your tweaking of the Corp Anthem, very rousing, very rousing.

.... Maz, that outfit will go sooo well with Gizmo's orange bootees. Do you think he'd wear a headband??

Elisabeth, well done, you are excused jankers, and can go straight onto remedials... Dandelion and Burdock complete with frilly little umbrella and cherry on a stick... starting up as a fashion icon deserves a suitable reward, lol

Ooooeeerrr Mau... all of them *blushes and averts eyes* and late on parade? Grrrrr.... only excuse I can accept is erm, gimme a minute to think of one, lolol ;¬))

Ginnie, erm, here you are.... brand new they are, very very fetching... *blushes* M&S... will stop any reflective moments from them there beautifully polished wellies, lol

~~~~~ to Stray, have a lovely night, and beware the evil sunstroke.... nasty, it is, very very nasty...
Rose, I helped my mum put on her false eyelashes.... dad didn't even notice, until halfway through the posh do they were at, and he lunged at them and tried to pull them off.... he still to this day doesn't know why!! My mother was furious with him.
Linda, like everyone else on this thread, you have a wonderful eye for colour... pink cowboy hats will be optional wear to headbands....
Ann, you look stunning.... and doing a wonderful job of marshalling the troops whilst I go out and spend all R's pennies, lol
I have forgotten what was said by whom on the previous page, now... and if I turn this over, I shall lose all my words, I know I shall... so if I have missed anyone out... bear with me... I'll be back when I have finished reading Part 1 Orders, lol
Love and ((((hugs)))))
I'm late I know sorry ,you can blame OH as he keeps asking my opinion on what he's doing (laying vinyl in small hallway) then he still does it his way.
I would love to borrow a pink cowboy hat please Linda I do believe I could look quite fetching in one.lol.
I have found the orange goes quite well with my grey hair but I'm not to sure on the leggings and my bum definately looks huge in them. I can't wear heels but my yellow boots have been highly polished so they are very reflective. oooer!!
Dear Daff have you found your pjs and knickers yet, we need you dressed correctly when you inspect us.
I know nothing at all (nowt as my Dad would say) about army life so I will need some expert training I'm afraid.
I shall return later bye for now
re psychedelic Carol :)) My mum and I had psychedelic print dresses in the 60s, you just reminded me ... hers was orange and yellow patterns , mine was pinks and purples..worn with a chain belt :)
She was desperate to have false eyelashes too but I think my brother and I laughed too much at the thought .
Laughing like a drain at Maz's "I would look like a python who had eaten an elephant lol " ... I'm afraid in lycra I would look like a python that had swallowed a camel ;)
Afternoon Daff, xxx
Does anyone want to borrow a pink cowgirl hat?
Have them left over after my daughters hen weekend.
As she is now married I could remove the Bride To Be badge from her one.Don't think she'll mind as it's in a good cause.
Just a thought with all the equipment and extra clothing will we be able to MOVE?????
I guess that's what our training is for !!!
LOL
Morning Daff and all.
Here I am at last. I've just 'done' town and did get a few funny looks at my gorgeous outfit. The market traders were thanking me for setting a new trend. The man with the flourescent jackets and boiler suits said he was doing a roaring trade and the 'sock stall' couldn't get the orange, lime green and yellow legwarmers out of the boxes quick enough.
I am now hot in my uniform so I will go and get a cool drink and relax for a while.
Julia, Lol Lol the mace would be a lovely touch as I am sure would the resprayed spats. (nearly put sprats there!). We don't want you getting your OH all excited over thigh high boots do we!! Hmmm!
BC I know the feeling, all goes south doesn't it?
Julia
Julia Report 11 Aug 2010 09:02
Good Morning all you lovely's and our Daff and her R (good job this man is army trained, and can always face a another challenge)
I have a dil-hemma. I am rather challenged in the height department, and consequently my legs are rather on the short side. Therefore, can I be excused wellies, as these are proned to come up to my thighs. OH says I only need a whip.
But, I digress. Therefore, may I suggest that I wear my old Dad's spats. These are no ordinary spats. As part of my repressed childhood,over some sixty years ago, I did, with my fellow siblings, have to tennis-white these spats, as part of our evening entertainement, along with the afore mentioned water filled jeely jars. Then, when said Dad was going on parade to take his band on drill excersises, we were allowed, with the use of a suitable button hook, (which I still have) to fit these to his legs. I am now prepared, for the cause, to spray these spats, orange ( or is it lime green). I could wear these with my Fell Walking Boots (please see Cooper's thread on Chat, re Shoes.)
As the daughter of a Drum Major, ex World and European runner-up, I am well versed in the area of marching, and can turn around a band of merry men ( and women) on a sixpence. Many is the time as a child, and an adult, I could be found marching behind a band. I am a pure sucker, for a band swinging their kilts, and even today, am known to go wobbly all over, at the sight of a pair of men's bare knees. As an added incentive, I can access said old Dad's mace, the thistle head being refilled with pure Saharan sand for balance.
Oh, and just another thing, whilst I willing enhance the wearing of Pat Butcher earings, I also wear three pairs of glasses, though not all at once. I thought I would PM, Dame Edna Everage, and see if I could cadge a pair of hers/his to enhance my appearance on parade day.
Keep up the good mirth and have a lovely day, all
Julia in Derbyshire
Good morning Ma'am. All equipped and ready for order of the day! Think I will pass on the extra weight training but have the necessary for the aerobics. (*hides bottle in rucsac). Ah found the dangly earrings so that's the lot. waiting for everyone to wake up now!
Sorry R, no heels on my boots, although they look fetching on BC I must say. I'd only fall off them if I had heels!
