Ah, you mean you don't want to join Kemp??? I think we brighten up the day, like half a rainbow really. If you don't like orange you could join us and just wear a pink hat!!!!!!!

I'm with Beverley *whimpers* I don't do early mornings very often.

BC pull yourself together girl!!!

Good bloody greif!!!
I,ve been reading your thread ladies and have booked beds in a "hospital" for you all ..I really dont understand why you find it funny that Daffs Pjs are yellow with teddies and that Daff herself thinks her bum looks big in them ...!
I suggest that you get some sizzors and slit the seam so your bum can have enough room to pop out when needed and then get yourself some cotton and sew it up when you have managed to loose a few pounds!!
just like to mention I really dont think we need to laugh at yellow teddies myself as I have the very same pair...and my bum looks very big in them .......

Orange dungeress from the 70s well I have an orange jumper knitted by my mum you could borrow to go with them..

I do also hope that you have no intention to wear them yellow high heeled wellies with either of the above outfits!!!!

white van will collect each of you as time passes but I,m not saying when as you may all run!!!!

Good morning Sargent Major Daff and fellow privates

Now Daff – I wonder if I could have a quiet word with you. Please sit here on this fluffy pink cushion.

I’m a bit concerned about these manoovers you mentioned. I googled it and (thank heaven for spellcheck) found some things which I’m a tad concerned about.

Firstly, these manoovers seem to happen early in the morning and I just want to say it really could do with being a bit later. After all, us ladies need our beauty sleep and first cup of tea before we can get going. Also, if it’s raining, can they be indoors because I don’t want to ruin the hairdo and make up.

Secondly, if I have to keep throwing my chest out (like BC), I’m going to have problems with the buttons popping off my dungarees. Likewise if I have to ‘quick march’ – I’m not sure the seams will hold out and the privates in stilletos may have trouble too.

And thirdly, do we really have to carry those horrible back-pack things? Can’t we have a nice shiny pink handbag? I would never find my lippy in that back pack and they look so heavy. What do you think?

I hope you’re going to be a nice Sargent Major and not say nasty things like ‘Right you ‘orrible lot’ because we’re not ‘orrible. If you start saying things like that I’ll cry and my mascara will run and you know how difficult it is to get mascara out of lacy hankies.

Left right, left right, ten'shun!

Reporting for duty ma'am.

Pity I didn't know I was off jankers - I have just finished painting all the kerbstones round the parade square a nice bright white. Pity the regimental goat didn't understand when I chased him with the paintbrush. He had walked on the wet paint and left hoofprints all over the tarmac. Off I go with the black paint, to cover that mess.

I'm going to get my glass of dandelion and burdock complete with a couple of maritsh... marosh... cherries on a stick.

MrDaff Report 11 Aug 2010 17:15

Sorry Amanda, didn't see you there... you meld into the riot of colour absolutely perfectly... brilliant outfit, I must say, lol

I have my granddaughters Ariel one... she left it behind.!

Oh... I had my hair cut as well... very short and funky. I was growing it to see if I liked it in a bob... but will do that next year. This will be easier to manage, and not too big a change when it starts to fall out. I have a couple of sunhats, which I didn't need last time of course, cos it was winter... I dooooooo hope my moustache goes totally this time, lolol

AnninGlos Report 11 Aug 2010 17:06

Oh goodness don't let him get the destructions mixed up, he feeds the cats and puts washing in the machine, no other combination will do.

Amanda2003 Report 11 Aug 2010 17:06

Rushes in panting....sorry I'm late , sorry I'm late ....shades eyes from the riot of colour ...... goodness me , we look like a field of Marigolds : )) Very cheerful indeed .
Well I've created my uniform from an old pair of OH orange overalls ( so please excuse the oil stains and burn holes ) , I can't do heals , so I've opted for a pair of yellow wellies that where lurking in the shed ( please excuse the mud , I never rinsed them after the last time we went crabbing ) .....let me see , what else was required ? .....a head band , well I found one of those glitter teeny bopper things , you know , with wobbly do-dahs on them , like antennae ( only ones fell off ) , and I don't have Pat Butcher ear rings , so I have cunningly created some out of old bottle tops and wire coat hangers .....I'm ready ....phew ....lol

Hope you've had a good day Daff xx

MrDaff Report 11 Aug 2010 17:04

wmsl.... Ann, I have had pretty much the same response from R... except a teensy frisson of horror, as R will have to give bulletins at some stage, lolol ;¬)) He has dug out all the destructions for the cats and white goods... lots of weekend reading me-thinks, lolol

Mummo, (((((((((hugs ))))))))))) for you and Ed xxx

*passes Bev a sweeping brush to make sure she doesn't try to bend, and rip her uniform.

You look brilliant.... the blue splodges add a certain Je ne ce wotsit to the ensemble. Now that is what I like to see... innovative thought, lolol Recycling... very effective. Love the legwarmers in particular xx

Sandie, yes please, mixing with the primrose will be perfect... we can't be having a dayglo tan clashing with the uniform... so altering the uniform is fine ;¬))

Linda, the man---- wotsits (well, spelling the manoovers word is a pain!!) start whenever you are ready... I think individuality should be encouraged, at all costs, as this will lend an element of uniqueness to our little batty-lion. So no need to stand on ceremony... just start as we get there, and hope others arrive to join in, lolol!

Didn't get a dressing gown... *sulks* so will go back out tomorrow.

I can't stop giggling, lolol!

Love
