No, look. I've set my heart on the Bahamas so the Bahamas it is.
Here's the deal
I'll pay for Daff's insurance, everyone's tickets, make sure the hotel (5 star of course) is close to a hospital and, if necessary, fly Daff's hospital team out as well (may as well look after them!!).
If everyone could chip in a bit for my sun tan lotion, I'm happy.
Daff - stop trying to play hard-done-by - I can see you've spent lots of time with a littlie and it's rubbing off.
So, do we have a deal?
*make a mental note to take the satnav in case we end up on Barry Island*
EDIT: Forgot to mention my (well, OH's) lottery win - £10.00. Should be enough

~~~~~~~~ to all BC I doubt they'd understand much Welsh in Barry Island, but if you can master the language, that's great. Re rowing. I could lend you a coracle.
~~~~~~~~ to everyone
*packs an extra blanket to cover BC's Brazilian and Tango*
Do they Tango in Brazil?
Nuts!!
Beverley, I shall have to write a Doctors note for myself, as I can't fly just now. Actually, I can't be more than 3 hours away from the hospital just now. *frets* I haven't got a passport either. Well, I have, but it ran out when I was ill, and I haven't renewed it. And who would pay my insurance? at least a grand at the last query...... *sobs theatrically*
I shall go to Barry Island (it is famous, you know, Stacey comes from there, in Gavin and Stacey, and the fish and chip shop they use, which is my favourite, is to die for) and wave at the planes passing over. Just in case you are on one of them. Without me. *sobs some more with one eye open watching for reactions*
Carol, I shall go and have a look in a moment! Has the air cleared yet? Hubby has a Sony Sat Nav, I have a Tom Tom. His is useless. When we were last in Scarborough, I made my point by tapping in the postcode to the hotel we were staying in. Now, we were on the same road, no one way, we could have walked it in two or three minutes. But.... his took us on a 3mile trip in and out of all the very narrow local side roads... and good old Tom took us straight there without even a sigh of exasperation at the idiocy of the request.
So... guess which one hubby used when we went to Peterborough for the meet? Good thing I insisted on going a day early, isn't it? Wmsl.
Well, R is now awake, so I can go and get some washing from the basket to shove in the machine... where does it all come from?
Have a wonderful day, everyone
Love
Daff xxxxx

Eveving SM Daff & all,
I am pleased to read that SM Daff is resting - just make sure you do.
I am ready for any evening tasks, but prefer guard duty to latrines. (I have done that already today, don't want to do more.)
I have frittered away some of my afternoon and have nothing to show for it. I promise tomorrow I will get on with some gardening, then I will be ready for Bermuda, Bahamas or even Skeggy if that is all that is on offer.
Have a happy evening - and rest!!! (CarolB - we bought a SatNav for a trip to the south and it worked fine until we tried to navigate the last half mile to the hotel. The SatNav wasn't aware that some roads had been blocked by bollards and we had to do a five mile round trip to access the right road!)

Afternoon everyone... I have been busy tidying up after Littlie... well, just the washing, and her toys were left scattered all over her room. *sighs*
She probably won't be here now until October, so I shall miss her... and son will be like a bear with a sore head. Oh well, I'll just have to send him to his room, lolol
Well, you all look ready for action...
*frets* BC I would love to go to Bermuda... but I do worry over that triangle you know. All those ships and planes getting lost in it..... *frets some more*
Sorry Mau.... will Barry Island do???
Maz, I loved the photos, thank you.... Gizmo is so like my Rosy, only as I said, Rosy is 15 or 16 now and very stately, lolol Tramp looks like Tubs... Toby on Sundays, lol... that was almost 30 years ago, now. I reared him from about 3 or 4 days old.. He was saved by my son, then aged 7, from a gang of kids who had frightened off the mum, and skewered the rest of Tubs' siblings. He is how I got involved with raising young kittens, in Cyprus, and re-homing them... plus catching mums and dads and neutering/speying them.
Beverley, you look stunning *puts on sunglasses* but that Triangle... you know, it might really target you looking so glam... all those sailors and pilots and so few women? *frets even more*
Gwynne, she is a real poppet, but with attitude as well.... how to channel that without stopping it, yet keeping it polite is a never ending *struggle*, lol
Elisabeth, I was chatting about it with R, and my brother this morning, and the school she is going to has an orchestra... so hopefully she can have lessons, and we will try to find some pennies to help with extra, should she need it. We will get her the keyboard for Christmas, I think.
Mummo, ((((((((((hugs)))))))
Love
Daff who is resting, honestly, lolol!! xxxxxxx
