Evening SM Daff, Mr Daff and troops,

Wonderful to read that Daff is now out of isolation, and has some folks to chat to presumably. I am sure she will get the 'Jedward' hairstyle under control, or she may be a trendsetter for the rest of us.

It has been a glorious day here, so I have cut all the lawns.

Peaceful night to all, especially Mr Daff and the felines.

R, sighs of relief all round. So pleased daff is out of solitary. Just shows that you cant be too careful when on chemo. They didnt realise this years ago when I had it, to think I worked on a hospital ward all the time I had mine!
Hope the cats are now suitably medicated. Nearly due to dose the strays, in Oct, So I hope we can manage that.

That is good R Daff being out of isolation. Hope she is soon able to take a bit more food to build her strength up. *chuckles at 'Jedward' look.
Give her my love please.

Morning!
Well, Daff now transferred to one of the main wards and no longer isolated. Big improvement in condition, but still not able to take much food or drink. She's also sporting a 'new' hairdo - unfortunately it's a Jedward look-a-like, and won't stay down !!!! No indication of 'release' date yet, though.
Feline-wise - 10 blunt digits versus 100 sharp claws (well, bit more than that as one cat has 8 claws on her front paws) has resulted in crushed tablets and 'gimme that' cat food being prepared !!!

Cheers,

R.

We used to have to hide pills in crab paste, had to crush the pill too or else the paste would be eaten and the pill depositied neately back in the dish.

Goodnight Daff, Mr Daff and troops.

I hope Daff has had a better day, and that Mr Daff managed to administer the correct dose to the felines, without major damage to his fingers.

Sleep well.

I hope that Daff is feeling a little better today and that she has been able to get a little food down .

regarding cats and pills Jeans tip is a good one , I usually go for hiding the tablet ( if it's a little one ) in something like corned beef , first give a little piece of plain corned beef to the " victim " then present the laced one . Under NO circumstances let the cat see what your doing or you won't stand a snowballs chance ! Good luck .
