So, the Great Escape happens today (hopefully). Steve McQueen had better watch out. Don't worry BC, we'll stand at the bottom of the rope in case you fall (that lycra being a bit slippery). I hope you're good at firemans lifts.

Hope all goes well today Daff and you can get home for a while.

Morning Daff and all (and hope your cold gets better soon Maz). I got up far too early this morning and am having granary toast and two fresh figs for breakfast and lots of strong coffee:-) Baby boy and dog are still sleeping. When I am finished I shall don my orange lycra suit and be prepared to abseil to rescue our Daff.. Do I need a rope?

In the meantime I am scattering rose petals over the thread so please be careful where you put your wellies:-)

Hope Daff is getting better by the hour and can come home this weekend. You will all feel better with her in her proper place.

Oh dear I am sure I put a post on here yesterday but can't see it now, must have had a senior moment lol.
Have been having trouble getting on here but seem to be ok now. So if I keep my fingers crossed I should be able to stay, trouble is I find it difficult to type with crossed fingers.

Heres hoping that the temp. stays down and Daff starts to eat & drink more so she can be at home.

I hope the felines are going to behave for you Mr Daff, they sound such characters.

Its a beautiful day here today, waiting for sister to arrive then we do the towns charity shops, looking for hard backed and paged childrens books to make albums with, tatty ones will do as we cover them...we being me and the littleman, or we will!!

Daff... l so hope you are home tomorrow, when you do stay in and stay well:o))

I'm pleased to see that Daff is improving and do hope she can get back to her own home very soon. We shall have to think up some exciting, tempting menus for Mr Daff to produce for her.

I am pleased the 'Jedward' hairstyle is now under control and hope that the felines will co-operate with Mr Daff.

Well, glad the temp is down and also the hair. Hope that the food situation will also soon be resolved. Hot chocolate is a strange one isn't it? Given that Daff is a savoury person. Anyway, keep trying, also with the cats, and hope Daff is able to go home tomorrow.

Morning all,
Overall a somewhat better day for Daff - the Jedward has gone thanks to copious amounts of hot water, the temperature is dropping and the drowsiness diminished. The inability to eat/drink is still with us, and the only things that seem to work are weak squash and hot chocolate! Oh, and a couple of ginger biscuits - but nothing else so far. Needless to say she is a bit 'fed up'.....(no pun intended!!)
Hopefully Daff will be able to come home tomorrow, all being well with the infection that is.
As for the tablets...sigh! I have a row of bowls, each with the individuals favourite food plus some nice, squishy sardines. So far, 3 felines have failed to appear, or have run off, one had some food (with crushed tablet), but only about half the dose, and the last thanked me for the sardines but told me where to stick the yellow powder stuff - which still resides in what is left of the sardines. So it's no food now until this evening!

Good morning, had a thunderstorm here at 6am for 20-30 minutes, sheet lightening continuous. No hearing aids in so didn't hear the thunder!!! OH only heard one clap.

Hope Daff continues to improve.
