Well, things moving along and tunnel's end drawing ever closer....discharge papers have been prepared, but not yet submitted, but it's a step in the right direction!! With luck, tomorrow will the day - a 'short term' cannula was put in today so that some potassium could be infused, but that is not expected to remain in for more than 16 hours, and no more blood/platelets currently required. Off the IV anti-B's and onto tablets, so...Friday looks good - but I'm saying nuffin !!!!

Felines well aware of the hoover, so no chance with that !! But did find one little black b*** curled up in the empty tumble drier just as I was going to put some stuff in.....strange animal - jumped out the drier and straight onto the ironing board.....? Think he needs a therapy session !!!

Cheers,

R

Right, I'll try again - the last attempt seems to have gone into cyberspace.

Evening Daff, Mr Daff and troops,

I hope the temperature is coming down and that the escape plan can be actioned before too long. We need a kit inspection as the parachute silk bloomers may not be standard issue.

Good evening Mr Daff and troops,

That is some wonderful news, that Daff is getting that temperature down, and we might have her back in barracks before too long. We will all be polished and sticking our chests out with pride, when she is ready to inspect us.

I'm sure Mr Daff will have the place really tidy and ready for inspection, with no sign of spiders or cobwebs. The felines will be so happy to see her.

Love,
Elisabeth xx

Extra hug to Mummo - we will all be standing by your side too. xx

Glad to see that things are improving for Daff and her temperature is coming down. I bet she's longing to be home again.

Get your felines to chase something like a small ball or screwed-up paper into the corners to capture the low down cobwebs, then you only have to do the upper-most ones.
Well done R.... You are a great support to Daff and yet still find time to update on here.
love to all there.

~~~~ back to Ann in the barracks with fellow squaddies.........
MrDaff Report 6 Oct 2010 20:41
Evening - afraid last night's post ended up in the Draft box....again. But as things are a bit different, prob no matter.
Daff's temp is decreasing and if it behaves tomorrow, she could be home on Friday. More alert today and the 'GL', 'little black cat' and 'angels wings' went down a treat.
Ann's bro' - the donor - was down today and gave forth his blood samples, and the appointment with the transplant team is set for next week, when we'll get to know a bit / lot more about what's ahead.
So, much more positive tonight...which means I'm gonna have to do more cleaning / hoovering again....oh, and removal of spiders and their webs (where do they all come from at this time of year ???)
Cheers!
R
Mummo...thinking of you x
