Proposals for new uniform

No glitter (absolutely)
No orange (at all)
No parachute silk bloomers (glares at BC)
No horizontal stripes.

I'm thinking in terms of a classy red and purple ensemble with pirate boots and feathered hats.

Morning Daff and all and *waves to Maz and Gizmo:-) Pleasant morning here and hope you are having a good rest, Daff, and recharging your batteries. In your absence, the troops have behaved with a great deal of enthusiasm, bashing spuds with a vengeance, spitting and shining boots, and...er...doing all those troopie things. Our uniform has lost its way a bit,but we are having a bored meeting to sort it out. You will be proud of us I am sure:-))

Daff, I remember those mouth ulcers, they didnt stop me eating either! Glad to see that things are progressing and that you will be getting on with all thats necessary for the transplant. Just go with the flow.

Just popping in to say how pleased I am that our Daff is home. Hope the week isn't too tiring for you and Mr Daff.

Afternoon Daff, Mr Daff and troops,

I was going to type 'good morning' when I realised it wasn't any more.

I seem to have had a busy morning. Had a call from a friend, of almost 50 years, and we nattered for an hour or so. It is always good to catch up with people who remember you as slim (well reasonably), fair haired and not white, and knew both of us before we married. Recharges the batteries.

I am so pleased to see 'crunchy nut cornflakes' mentioned, but like Ann -they do sound a bit too crunchy for someone with ulcers. Anyway, if they go down well, they are alight.

I do hope you manage to have a nap after each little task, to get you back to strength. I think we will have to change uniforms and turn ourselves into nurses/maids to do all the work.

Enjoy your sister's visit but take it easy and rest as much as you need to. The mouth ulcers and sores must be so painful. Hope they will soon heal. Hope you are managing to eat a little more now, we don't want you wasting away. We prefer you 'cuddly'. Your mention of crunchy nut cornflakes sounds hopeful but don't they hurt your mouth ulcers?

Done the T****'s shop now, shop full of families, why do they go shopping en masse. husband, wife, sister, boyfriend/husband, three kids - all of whom don't want to be there so are screaming and playing up. Our shop is being extended and re-organised which I am sure will be good in the long run, but meanwhile it is frustrating, every trip is like a treasure hunt to find things, half the shelves are empty, this morning no loose mushrooms, no grapes, ugh!!!

Hopefully you can enjoy the sun today Daff ,soak up a few rays,and save some strength for the next few days.Loads of love xx

Its warming up here now and the misty stuff is clearing:o)

Daff...we just don't realise do we what you are going through, l know l don't. l spose we would have to accept it, but you deal with it brilliantly, laugh and joke and no doubt get teary and blinky cross.
Just don't do too much, stay at home for a while, get your energies all backed up and be entertaind by this mad motly crew...are'nt they great.

Morning all.... I am late.... it takes me about two hours to shower (with help) then sort my poorly nose, and my mouthhful of cold sores, and my mouthwashes to stop mouth ulcers... three different types for that on alone. Then I need a nap!!!!! So that is where I am going after I have had my crunchy nut cornflakes, and done the mouthwash routine again.

I Have my sister popping in later, am at the day unit tomorrow and the transplant specialist on Tuesday..... so a busy couple of days.

The Mutts are awaiting orders, if you need more mutts just say. Had long deep talks with madoc, he does'nt mind glittery but NOT pink or purple please...lol...whereas rosco does'nt mind..lol
