Hello al - afraid there's no change today, and dialysis machine hooked up to deal with any nasty toxic build up that may be going on.
There is physical reaction to some procedures (clearing lungs etc) but don't know if that is involuntary reaction or not.
Hope to have some test results back tmw or tues, but the whole ICU has been very busy over the w/end, and of course technician manning will be less over that period so will also have had more to deal with. Dr's running around like you wouldn't believe, from crisis to crisis - 'on call' Friday means you don't get home until Monday....and the nurses are on 12 hour shifts too.
Son2 came down from Lancs today to see Daff, but had to go back same day - difficult to sort out skeds at the w/end when half your team can't be contacted...!!! I know !!!! It's his birthday as well...and rest of us all forgot...:0(
Nothing really to add, sri.....just a day by day thing now, and even when she gets over this, Daff still needs a SC transplant or the AML could come back.
Oh, and felines delighted that fridge/freezer packed in and everything defrosted overnight......nobody else could manage the salmon tails that were left...sigh. Do I forsee having to ween them off fresh (ish) salmon over the next few days..??
Many, many thanks for all who are posting positive thoughts...many of your boardnames are new to me, but I'm listing them to read to Daff. Don't know if she can hear, but you never know....

Have been away from the threads a couple of days, family wedding. Shocked to see the news about Daff. Come on girl, we need you, R needs you and so does your family, Please drs and nurses, bring our Daff back to us.

Just popping in to ...er...tidy up and dust and stuff. XXX

I am hoping that Daff has had a better night and that the bloods, meds etc are doing their work.

Special thoughts for Mr Daff and the family, who must be exhausted with the worry.

Off to shine my boots and add more glitter for the inspection parade. We need to be extra smart.

Hi Mr Daff, I hope that the platelet level is now right so that Daff can have her other meds. for her blood.

I will be playing "when you're smiling" on my Kazoo, in Daff's honour a few times today, instead of praying.
Might join BC in a community hum as well.
