A mixed but positive day today. Daff continues to recover from the sedatives, but is not there yet - more arm/leg and facial activity but still can't open her eyes or control anything. No speech.
Ventilator remains but the dialysis machine has been removed as she is dealing with basic toxins herself presently. There is still some fluid on the chest, so vent will remain for now, and at the current level (rather than being reduced further).
Responding to discomfort and there's obvious (to me, anyway!) frustration that she can't currently do anything about what's happening.
She's had an echo scan on the heart (results awaited), and a new central line was put in this afternoon, so medico's obviously plan to continue using both lines for the time being.

Overall, remains stable and slowly recovering from sedation. Discomfort from this no doubt, but being closely monitored. Various drugs still being given to control various aspects.

That is good news! I have been dreading coming on here in case the news was bad. Poor pussies, we always get an appreciative reception after Sunday dinner as ours love roast meat.

Thanks for the update Mr. Daff. Good news - hope today sees loads more improvement. Come on Daff we are right behind you. Loads of positive thoughts and prayers.

Good morning all, raining here but we wont be going far, T has a terrible cough and my throat is startting to tickle so we shall stay in the warm today.

Hope the improvement continues, even a tiny improvement is encouraging so no leaping around the wards just yet Daff.
