Pleased to hear about the improvements, little by little you are getting there Daff. Keep on fighting that pesky infection.
I'm sure she hears everything you say Mr Daff but is so used to your voice that she doesn't need to respond as she knows you are there for her.

Do tell Daff that her troops are still doing manoovers and keeping up the standard that befits her army. Well some of us are I'm sure. Glitter and bling very shiny and boots polished too.

Best wishes to you both

Thanks Mr Daff.

I am so pleased to read that there have been some more little steps and that the ventilator, feeding etc are looking better.

I do hope they can find the source of the infection soon, and get it treated.

Enjoy your supper and a restful night. Don't let the felines pinch all the chicken.

Positive thoughts coming from all the troops. We need our SM Daff back on duty for a formal inspection.

Thanks R another few little steps foreward then that is good. What we need, what we really need is for them to find the source of the infection. So troops, positive thinking on that.

Just lost the whole update - goodness knows where it went, but screen went crazy and.......puhh...no update.
So, again:
Slight movement in eyes, one arm, legs and head, and reaction to voices (though not mine - obviously toooo quiet !! lol!!!).
There's still an elusive infection and both central lines and 2 cannulae were removed and have been sent for analysis to see if the cultures show up anything.
Ventilator reduced to 20% assistance, but rest is being done by Daff. They are likely to carry out a tracheostomy to replace the current ventilator, but don't know when.
Tube feeding going okay, but temp still up and down coz of the infection. Drugs seem to be controlling the heart well, with only a few 'peaks', but Daff managing these on her own, without extra drugs being needed.
Another step forward....

Off to my chicken (accompanied by 'adoring' felines), veg and...oh, I'll do summat with the tatties and prob add a bit o' gravy too!!

G"night all

R.

Oh great! A little progress every day is a good thing. This bug must be an obscure one if they cant find it yet. Have they tested her sputum, do you know? There can be some very odd bugs there as i know to my cost. Take care and get some rest Mr Daff, all this is very hard on you.
